This guided meditation will use powerful techniques to help you sink into a deep state of relaxation.
So please be sure that wherever you're listening to this audio,
You're in a safe and comfortable place,
Free from distractions,
Where you can fully relax and let go.
Please make sure you're sitting or lying comfortably in a place where you're free from interruptions,
Where you can focus only on yourself and enjoy this time just for you.
Should you need to open your eyes at any time,
Your subconscious mind will alert you and you'll easily come out of this beautiful state of relaxation.
But for now,
Make sure your head is fully supported and that you're as comfortable as you can be as you gently close your eyes and begin your journey of enhanced physical and mental well-being.
Now I'd like you to take in a long deep breath,
Hold it for four seconds and then breathe out to the count of six.
Once again,
When you're ready,
Take a long deep breath in for a count of four,
Hold it for four and then breathe out to the count of six.
Nothing is needed of you.
This is your time to relax and to put yourself first.
To let go of any tension or worries.
Let them go.
I want you to imagine now your favourite colour.
A colour that brings you peace and calmness.
A colour that soothes and relaxes you.
Maybe it's the colour blue to represent the ocean.
Or maybe the colour of your favourite item of clothing or favourite flower.
I want you to imagine this colour as a beam of light that has special healing powers as it moves around your body.
This healing light will bring deep relaxation as it moves,
Soothing you,
Bringing peace and tranquility,
Releasing tension and relaxing your muscles.
This special colour has healing powers that spread from the top of your head to the tips of your toes,
Easing you to let go of stress,
Bringing deep contentment and restfulness.
Let's start by imagining this light at the top of your head now,
Spreading over your face and skull,
Releasing tension here,
Soothing your mind,
Replacing any worrying thoughts you have with positive calm ones.
The light is moving across your face now,
Relaxing all the tiny muscles in your cheeks,
Releasing tension,
Relaxing all the muscles,
Big and small.
Feel the light soothing away any tension,
Worries or anxieties.
Feel the tension in your forehead soothing and relaxing.
Feel any tension in your jaw releasing as you unclench it now.
Your whole face is feeling more and more relaxed.
Now the light is gently moving down your neck,
Into your shoulders and upper back.
Feel the tension in your neck and slowly let it go.
Feel your shoulders lower as you relax them,
As the light soothes any tension here.
As it spreads to your upper back it brings great relief,
Alleviating any pain,
Tension or worry that you may be carrying here,
Relaxing these areas.
The light is gently moving down into your chest and stomach,
Passing over your arms and back,
Bringing relaxation,
Soothing any tension,
Relaxing muscles.
Feel the tension in your chest and then let it go as the light spreads across each tiny muscle,
Soothing it.
Feel the tension in your stomach muscles,
Hold it and then let it go,
Relaxing every muscle.
Now the light is bringing relaxation all the way down your arms,
Into your palms and down to the tips of your fingers,
Releasing tension.
You now feel all the pressure in your back has eased.
Your airways have nicely opened up,
Helping you to breathe more deeply and easily.
The colourful light radiates down into your buttocks,
Hips and thighs,
Releasing all the tension here,
Bringing deep relaxation,
Softening,
Lengthening and loosening the tense overworked muscles.
And as the light moves down into your legs you can feel them getting heavier and heavier as they sink into the surroundings.
Finally the light illuminates your feet,
Spreading across the soles of your feet,
Lighting up each toe,
Finding the tension and then releasing it,
Soothing the muscles,
Bringing total relaxation from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
Now your special light has soothed away tension and replaced it with total relaxation,
Total calmness.
Nothing is needed of you now,
This is your time.
Your body feels heavier and heavier now as it sinks deeper into its surroundings.
You thank the light for helping you to soothe your mind and body,
Knowing that should you need to relax and soothe your body again,
You can easily do so by closing your eyes and accessing your special light technique.
You are now in a deep state of relaxation where your subconscious mind is now open to receiving new and positive suggestions.
And I would like to speak directly to your subconscious mind which often tries to protect us by keeping us in old out-of-date patterns.
I want to thank your subconscious mind for doing such a great job of protecting you but it's okay to open up to new suggestions and opportunities.
You no longer need out-of-date emotions that no longer serve you.
Today your subconscious mind is open to receiving new and positive suggestions.
Uncertainty is all around us never more so than today.
Whether it concerns a global pandemic,
The economy or your finances,
Health or relationships,
Much of what lies ahead in life remains uncertain.
But while you may feel that many things remain outside of our control your mindset is key to coping with these difficult circumstances and confidently facing the unknown.
Right here in this space of stillness you begin to feel your inner foundation strengthen.
The world may shift and turn but inside you there is steadiness,
There is wisdom,
There is courage,
Hope,
Confidence and calmness.
When things get challenging,
Times get hard and when the future looks uncertain or you simply don't know what to do you find that you are now someone who thrives through change.
You meet uncertainty not with fear but with curiosity.
You know that new paths reveal new strengths and lessons are learnt along the way and you trust yourself to handle whatever arises.
From now on whenever change appears you take a deep breath and feel your inner roots hold you steady You remind yourself I have handled so much already I grow stronger with each new step I have the resilience to cope Each morning you visualise your day unfolding in a way that supports you.
You move with purpose even when the path isn't clear You know that clarity comes through action and you listen to your intuition.
You adapt with ease.
You respond with presence You now create small anchors of routine that help ground you Perhaps it's a walk,
A tea ritual a journaling moment These rituals remind your body and mind that you are safe,
Capable and held When you're working on a problem you try lots of different solutions understanding that there's no one size fits all solution to life's problems You no longer see the world in black or white as you seek new ways to respond to issues with confidence and calm You recognise when things aren't working and you're now open to changing things Whether it's an emotional focused or problem focused solution you lean on whatever one is required An emotion focused strategy that will change the way you feel,
Distract yourself get support from friends or perhaps you may look for a problem focused strategy,
Taking an action to solve the problem directly You are building confidence not in the world outside but in the stability within and it grows stronger every day Repeating these affirmations to yourself I'm grounded even in uncertainty Change reveals my strength I trust myself to adapt with ease I respond with presence and clarity and confidence I am safe I am capable,
I am calm I move forward with confidence Each new chapter brings new growth and more confidence My inner strength carries me I let go of control and welcome possibility I thrive through change and confidence You are ready for all that life brings,
The confidence you need is already alive within you Now begin to imagine a future moment where life throws something unexpected your way a shift,
