Good morning,

Hi,

Hello,

Welcome to today.

I am so glad that you are taking some time for you to just see how you are this morning,

Connecting in with yourself and giving yourself permission to start this day shining as brightly as you deserve to.

Without further ado,

I want you to close your eyes,

To just land wherever you are right now,

To arrive on whatever surface you have to hand.

Your bed,

The floor,

A chair,

The sofa,

It doesn't have to be a perfect place,

A perfect time.

Better to spend these 10 imperfect minutes with yourself than to carry around the increasingly heavy hope of finding 10 perfect minutes for the next 10 hours,

10 days,

10 months,

Or 10 years.

Feel the ground beneath you,

Feel gravity holding you here.

There is nowhere else to be but here,

And there's no one else to be but you.

This space is yours.

It'll feel like nothing to anyone else around you,

But it is a gift that you are giving yourself this morning,

And I am so here for it,

And here for you.

Let's start by scanning your body.

How is it today?

As you go through noticing all the parts of you from your toes to the top of your head,

What's calling out to you?

What wants to be heard?

What do you notice in your body?

Have you even thought about it yet today?

What does it need you to know?

Where does it feel easy?

Where does it flow?

Where is it soft?

Where does it feel good?

Let's give a moment to just appreciate and be aware of the parts of us that are functioning and feeling good.

And then some space to be aware of and to hear,

To feel where it's tight.

Notice where does it catch?

Where might you be holding in and holding on right now?

Can you direct some breath there as you breathe in and breathe out,

Focusing on those spaces to really say,

I see you and I am here with you.

What does your body need you to know today?

And then affirming for yourself that I have this body,

But I am more than just my physical body.

And as you allow these physical sensations to fade away,

Make some space and invite in your feelings.

What's coming up for you this morning?

What's been there for the last month,

The last week,

The day before?

What's arriving today?

What are you feeling?

And where are you feeling it?

Can you put a hand there wherever it is in your body and just be with it?

Gently press your hand against the part of your body where you have those feelings to just say,

I see you and I am here with you.

Being curious and open without judgment,

Wondering what do these feelings need me to know?

What can I notice here?

And then affirming for yourself,

I have these feelings and I am more than just my feelings.

And allow those feelings to fall back a bit and turn your attention now to your mind and your thoughts.

What's happening there today?

This morning,

Are they racing fast or are they slow and meandering?

Are there a lot of thoughts already or only a few just starting to wake up?

Are you carrying any with you from the night before or are they fresh this morning?

What's there?

What needs to be heard?

What wants to be known?

Be with them?

What do they want you to know today?

And then affirming for yourself,

I have this mind and these thoughts,

But I am more than just my mind and my thoughts.

And so after we've made space for our body,

Our feelings and our mind,

What do we want to identify with and give space to now as the noise quietens down what emerges for you this morning?

I invite you to turn your attention now to that place deep inside of you,

Connecting in with your core,

With your heart center,

Where no matter what happens outside of you remains true to you.

Regardless of external events of others around you,

Physical distractions,

Emotions and thoughts,

When those all peel away,

We're left with the very essence of who you really are underneath it all,

Where your flame burns brightly and your spark ignites.

I'm going to invite you to take your hand and gently place it onto your body where you feel most connected to this place.

And as you put your hand,

I want you to affirm for yourself,

I am here.

I am here and I am not afraid to burn brightly and to shine this light from within.

And I benefit from its brightness and the light that I shine.

In turn,

I allow others to experience and benefit from its glow.

But first,

First it has to start with me.

I want you to reaffirm that for yourself,

That I am here.

I am here and I am not afraid to burn bright and shine this light from within.

And as you hold your hand here and connect to this energy,

Just allow it to pulse within you.

Feel the presence of your pure creative and dynamic energetic force.

Feel the promise of what could unfold when you are connected to it.

Feel the permission that it gives you to go in today and bring all of yourself to this day.

Feel the purpose that it offers you.

And from this place,

This place of presence and promise and permission and purpose,

I invite you to set yourself an intention for today.

And your sleepy self selected this meditation because it didn't want today to go by in a flash,

On autopilot,

Disconnected,

Exhausted,

Bored,

Under,

Overwhelmed.

You hit play on this meditation today because you wanted more from yourself,

More for yourself,

More from today and more for today.

Hold your hand here,

Connect to this energy and feel it pulsing within you.

Feel the presence of the pure creative and dynamic energetic force that is uniquely yours.

Feel the promise of what could unfold when you remain connected to this force.

Feel the permission that the presence and the promise gives you to go into today and bring all of yourself and feel the purpose that it offers you.

What is my intention for today?

And as gently as we arrived,

May I invite you to find your way back to your physical body.

Just notice yourself perched on that surface.

Breathe in and breathe out all that you want to leave behind here.

Wiggle,

Move that body of yours and gently blink open your eyes.

And before we go,

Three things.

Take a moment to connect back in with that intention and make a note.

Draw something,

Find something within your room that will anchor you back and help you refer back to that intention for the rest of the day.

Secondly,

Give thanks to yourself for choosing this meditation,

For pushing play and for having a little faith in you and that part within you.

And thirdly,

May you shine bright,

Shine bright.
