So wherever your Shavasana is,
Close your eyes if they aren't already and fully connect your body to the earth,
Whether it's through the sit bones,
The tummy,
The back of the legs and the back.
Next,
Where you are connecting.
So the breath in and the breath out.
You guide you through a visualisation in the Shavasana.
In your mind,
Be yourself walking through a woodland.
Notice the quality of the air.
Feel the sun on your skin as it glints through the trees.
How do the trees smell?
You take steps further and deeper,
Feeling the earth beneath your feet with every step.
You feel calm,
You feel at peace,
A tiny bit of curiosity.
As you go deeper,
You start to see a meadow within the woodland.
It's filled to bursting with wild flowers.
You slide too slow for a while,
Lie down.
And you lie among the flowers.
A warning with nothing left.
With the whole world's beautiful beauty,
I'm here.
Every breath.
You feel this sense of hope,
Of new life,
And wonder,
Being cultivated within your own body.
Letting be a while.
You see how this feels within.
And as you are here,
Surrounded by this abundance,
By these gifts from nature,
From the universe,
Is there anything that you would like to wish for,
For this coming season?
Ask it now.
Ask it to the flowers,
To the earth,
To the trees,
To the universe.
And feel safe in the knowledge of the universal listen.
Feel into the ground.
Notice your being.
Before you rise,
Head back out of the meadow in the woodland.
You notice that you're wearing something,
Like a new as a gift.
A sense of offering.
And place it down to the ground.
Thanks for this beautiful face.
You are beautiful.
You are beautiful.
You are beautiful.
How you feel?
You feel more grounded.
Did you work,
Spent,
Pretending to your garden within?
Everything is the same.
Stretch.
Ah,
I'm going to be fine with this.
And as you come to,
I'm just going to read a poem that I posted for the equinox yesterday.
This is the beginning.
This is where it will all start.
On the wings of some new spirit with the beat of some new heart.
Every morning brings a promise.
Every day has gifts to give.
But today,
Right now,
This minute is where I begin to live.
And the air that I am breathing is the breeze of what could be.
As I stand here looking out on all the things that I could be.
And the road that goes before me,
Leading me somewhere out of sight.
A brand new opportunity for me to get it right.
So this is the beginning.
My beginning,
My rebirth.
And I awaken to the wonder of what I really am worth.
It is the springtime for the spirit and it's giving me a choice.
So I choose to use this season as a season to rejoice.
Which I think is so,
So fitting for the year ahead.
If you're still lying down,
Gradually commit your way with your feet.
With your hands resting at your heart.
Take a little lift in the chest,
A little tuck of the chin.
Three arms to seal today's practice.
Take a deep breath in.
Ahhmmm.
