There was once a girl who was searching for a place where she can belong to.

And she didn't know where to start really.

She tried to travel,

She tried to mingle with people who she thought were like her.

But she didn't really know who she was like.

Along the way,

She had lost her way.

Out of fear of not being loved.

Out of fear of not being accepted.

And somehow rejected for being her,

For being herself.

Along the way,

She tried and tried and tried.

But ultimately could not find the answer to her dilemma of where she could belong to.

Until one day,

She was shocked.

She was jolted out of her old ways.

It was a real rude awakening.

She couldn't feel the ground under her feet.

She couldn't walk.

Not because she couldn't actually use her legs.

But she came to realize that she was walking in mud.

A metaphorical mud.

She couldn't move forward in her life.

And her vision was completely blocked.

Unable to see,

Unable to hear.

Unable to hear the positive words.

Unable to hear and see the world.

Because she had disconnected.

All of this was a shock to her.

She asked,

Where is the light,

Where is the light in all of this darkness?

There was no answer.

Where is the light,

Where is the light in all of this darkness?

No answer.

But what became apparent to her was,

She also had disconnected from above and from below.

And she felt so lonely.

And she understood why now.

The light was there all along.

But she was so blinded to it.

Due to how much she had disconnected from herself.

Because she believed herself to be the problem.

The world made her believe that she was the problem.

But ultimately,

It's the world that's the problem.

She started to look within herself.

To regain herself again.

To regain her truth,

To regain her vision.

And to regain the ability to hear and listen.

To listen,

To listen.

To the ebbs and flows within herself.

To listen to the movements of life.

And that life may have its down times and high times.

And that no matter what happens,

She wouldn't let those times,

The low times,

To hold her back from her truth.

To hold her back from expressing and being herself.

She was done with that.

After many years of going through this jolt,

This shock to her system,

She started to see that it was time to share with the world the very thing that the world has been waiting for.

We all need a hero.

We all need someone to uplift us,

To see us,

To show us what we are capable of doing.

Because along the way,

We all,

Or as most of us,

Have lost the way.

We all need someone to tell us,

This is you,

This is actually you,

This bright,

Shining star that people are attached to and want to hear from,

And want to see their work because they can truly bring such a great change to their life.

And to remind them of their true essence,

Of their truth.

We have all strayed a path at some point,

And that's okay,

And that's okay.

It is part of being a human.

It is part of being us.

We stray so we can come back to it.

And when we become aware,

It is truly the beginning,

The turning point to returning back to ourselves.

And so,

Where is the light in all of this darkness?

The light resides within.

We take back our power by declaring that this is us.

We take back our power by saying enough.

Standing in the face of those who have held us back,

And realizing that they are in their own pain.

The time is now for change.

The time is now to bring love to the world.

For many await us,

And many need us.

So let us be our truth without holding back.

Let us be what we've come here to be without limits,

Without hesitations or doubts,

With full trust and belief in our own selves.

We are destined to greatness,

And greatness is part of our truth.
