Hello.

You're here because you'd like to do a self-reiki meditation.

This meditation is going to lead you through all of the chakras,

Including some sound bowls that are calibrated particularly for each chakra.

I'll also be doing some bija mantras that correlate with each chakra.

And the word bija,

B-E-E-J-A,

Or sometimes spelled B-I-J-A,

Is a seed mantra that helps open the chakras.

You may chant along with me as I'll explain each of the bija mantras,

Or you may just subtly relax and let the sound waves from the bowls and the mantras surround you,

Be above you,

Under you,

Through you,

In you.

If you are a reiki practitioner,

You will want to activate your reiki by drawing your chokure sign on the palms of your hands.

You can do that now.

Chokure,

Chokure,

Chokure.

Chokure literally means,

When translated,

Put all the power of the universe here.

So when you imagine putting all of the power of the universe and drawing that symbol onto the palms of your hands,

You are truly activating a powerful force of energy that the universe has at all times in so much abundance that we can tap into at any time we need.

You may do this meditation sitting or laying down.

I find it much more comfortable to lay down.

Begin by placing your hands at the heart.

Breathe in deeply and exhale.

Once again,

Breathing in deeply and exhale.

This time,

Breathe in.

Hold for just a few seconds.

Exhale throughout the mouth.

Put your hands in prayer position on Jali Mudra at the heart center and think of an intention that you have for this practice.

And now let's begin.

We'll begin with the root chakra.

I'd like you to place your hands at the outside of your hips or at the groin area,

Whatever is comfortable for you.

Sometimes just at the line between the thighs,

Where the thighs meet the groin,

Or on the outside of the hips.

The root chakra is so important for setting our foundation.

Breathe in the reiki energy and exhale reiki energy to the root chakra here.

The root chakra,

Affirm to yourself,

I am safe.

The universe protects me.

I am full of life energy.

Think of the color red and see a spinning vortex or chakra spinning red.

Pluck out any blemishes or dark spots that may be there as you visualize this vibrant red chakra spinning.

And once again,

Affirm to yourself,

The universe wants what's there.

The element of the root chakra is governed by earth.

And the bija mantra is the word lam.

L-A-M.

Lam.

You may chant it along with me,

Silently or out loud.

Breathe in and exhale lam.

L-A-M.

Lam.

L-A-M.

Lam.

L-A-M.

L-A-M.

Lam.

L-A-M.

Lam.

L-A-M.

Lam.

The root chakra's pitch is the note C.

I am safe.

The universe protects me.

I am full of life energy.

Now move your hands that are activated with Reiki to the sacral.

The sacral is the lower abdomen area of your body.

The spotastana,

I want you to think of the color orange.

Place your hands here at the sacral.

The element for the sacral is water.

When I think of water,

I think of how it flows and is clear.

I'd like you to also think of how you can utilize the element water as you activate this chakra.

Perhaps it is knowing that we need to go with the flow.

We can make things more smooth in our lives.

Breathe in the Chokure and exhale Chokure out through the palms of your hands to the sacral.

Affirm to yourself,

I am allowed to be sensitive.

I enjoy my life.

I am allowed to live joyfully.

I go with the flow.

Listen to the beautiful harmonics contained in this Tibetan bowl calibrated to the note D.

The Bija mantra is the syllable VAM.

VAM VAM VAM VAM VAM VAM VAM VAM VAM VAM VAM VAM VAM VAM Now move your reiki hands to the solar plexus over the midsection of your body.

Breathe in Chokure and exhale Chokure through the palms of your hands sending energy to the solar plexus.

This is the Manapura and the color here is yellow.

I often think of the bright shining sun and its warmth.

And indeed the element here is fire.

We think of the warmth and the fire of the sun activating the midsection of the solar plexus.

Affirm to yourself these wonderful virtues of abundance and prosperity.

I live in abundance.

Know that abundance is unlimited.

How beautiful is that?

Affirm to yourself I have energy.

I can realize what I want.

The Bija mantra here for the solar plexus is the most powerful of mantras.

It is the syllable RAM.

You can chant along with me as I say RAM.

Inhale deeply.

Exhale RAM.

The beautiful tones of the Tibetan singing bowl here is calibrated to the pitch E.

Allow these vibrations to surround you.

Subdue.

Discover what is the purpose of their existence ROM Wrong.

.

.

.

Now take your reiki hands and place them at the anahata,

The heart chakra.

I want you to breathe in love for yourself,

Self-nurturance.

Inhale any stress that you may still be holding onto.

Breathe in again the love for the universe here at the heart center.

And exhale any stressors,

Worries,

Troubles.

Just let them go.

For right now just allow yourself to luxuriate in the feeling of peace and love that the universe has for you.

The heart chakra is the color green.

I want you to think of the most beautiful vibrant colors and hues of green.

The element of the anahata is air,

Wind.

Beautiful,

Clear air,

The sustenance of our lives.

Confirm to yourself,

Love,

Love,

Love.

I am love.

I am lovable.

I forgive.

I work on forgiving.

I let go.

Now receive,

I receive love.

I receive love every minute.

I give love.

I am loving.

I respond first with love.

I allow myself to receive love.

The bija mantra at the heart center is the syllable yum,

Y,

A-m pronounced y-u-m,

Yum,

Yum,

Yum.

And the Tibetan bowl is calibrated to the pitch of F.

Now place your hands at the throat center in a way that is comfortable to you here at the throat center as it is sensitive.

In Sanskrit this is the vashuda.

It's our place of communication.

This chakra when it's open,

We're able to communicate our truth and communicate assertively,

Not being passive and weak,

But also not being aggressive,

Hurtful,

Offensive.

So with this chakra aligned it's so important to be able to speak our truth in an assertive,

Calm,

Peaceful manner.

The color here is a beautiful light blue.

Within chokhure to the hands and allow the chokhure and the energy of the universe to help open this chakra at the throat center.

The element here is space,

Ether.

Think of it as a clearing,

Beautiful,

Open throat center.

I speak my truth is the affirmation.

I express myself,

My emotions,

And it's okay.

I can express myself freely,

Respectfully.

My voice is important.

My voice is very important.

Not overly important.

Not more important than someone else's perhaps,

But it is equally important.

Think of this beautiful light blue color,

Open,

Expressive.

The bija mantra here is the syllable hum,

Hum,

Hum.

Spelled H-A-M hum,

Hum,

Hum.

The Tibetan bowl is calibrated at the note or pitch of G.

Chant the syllable hum along with me as I play the Tibetan bowl.

Hum.

Hum.

Hum.

Hum.

Hum.

Hum.

Hum.

Hum.

Hum.

Hum.

Now move your hands to the third eye at the brow center.

I like to cup my hands over both eyes,

Resting the base of my palm on my cheek and my fingertips above my eyebrows.

The third eye is the ajna,

Our beautiful chakra of intuition,

Connection with source,

Our higher power.

It's a beautiful color of the indigo blue.

The element here is actually all of the elements combined that we've already spoken of.

So the ajna combines earth and water,

Fire,

The sun,

Air,

Wind,

And space,

All of the elements.

Breathe in the power of chokhure,

And then exhale chokhure above the eyes,

Above the brow center,

The ajna.

The bija mantra here is om,

A-U-M,

Om,

The original,

Primordial sound of the universe,

Om.

It is such a beautiful mantra,

Such a divine mantra.

Feel free to chant om along with me as I strike and play the Tibetan bowl and chant om.

Om.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Affirm to yourself,

I trust my intuition.

My vision is clear.

I follow the signs and guidance of the universe.

I can communicate with my higher power,

My God,

Source,

Divinity.

Aum.

Now move your hands to the seventh chakra.

The crown chakra at the top of your head.

The Sahasrara,

The thousand-petaled lotus.

Aum.

Affirm to yourself,

I am connected with my higher self.

Affirm to yourself,

The universe fills me with clarity.

The universe fills me with deep love.

Visualize the color of violet.

Some see a rainbow spectrum of colors.

Others see a radiant white and golden light.

Personally,

When I visualize it,

I see a beautiful light,

Amethyst color.

Beautiful light violet.

I imagine this beautiful color radiating.

Beautiful color radiating from source down through the top of the crown of my head.

And swirling within each chakra throughout my body,

I breathe in the healing light.

Imagine,

If you will,

Say Hakee,

Our peaceful harmony symbol in Reiki.

Imagine it coming down through the crown chakra within the body.

Affirm to yourself,

Say Hakee,

Say Hakee,

Say Hakee,

Say Hakee.

Affirm to yourself,

Say Hakee,

Say Hakee,

Say Hakee,

I am peaceful and calm.

I have tranquility.

I provide tranquility.

With the hands at the top of the crown chakra,

Breathe in the healing that comes from our master symbols.

Dicomio,

Dicomio,

Dicomio.

Let the bright,

Great,

Shining light shine within you.

Affirm to yourself,

I am connected with my higher self.

The universe fills me with clarity and deep love.

The Bija mantra here is also the syllable Om,

But in reverence we are silent.

Inside our mind we can chant Om silently to ourselves.

Silently to ourselves.

The pitch for the crown chakra is the note B.

Luxuriate in the vibrations.

Place your hands wherever they are most comfortable if you have not already done so,

Because it can be tiring to have your hands in certain positions.

Know that the Reiki can go wherever it is most needed within your body.

Reiki is an intelligent energy source.

Remember the intention you had for yourself at the beginning of the practice,

Your sankalpa is your intention.

Affirm your intention to yourself at this point as I play each of the tones of the Tibetan bowls.

Just for today,

Kyo daki wa.

Do not be angry,

Ikaruna.

Do not be worried,

Shinpai suna.

Be grateful,

Kanshashte.

Do your duties fully,

Gyo hageme.

Be kind to others and yourself,

Hito ni shinsetsu ni.

1st time doing this one. I had a massive blockage in my throat Chakra. Not that I necessarily realized this. Upon doing this meditation when we got to the throat Chakra and she spoke the words my voice is important. I broke down crying, even sobbing but then it cleared and I was to chant with you. I feel calm. I feel heard. I feel grateful. Thank you.
