Hello Meditation Family,

This is Jake Williams.

Today we are going to do a meditation surrounding compassion.

Compassion to ourselves.

I want to get you to sit in a comfortable posture or lie down.

If you are sitting make sure your back is straight and your head is high.

Make sure you are comfortable.

Comfort is key.

We need to close your eyes and imagine yourself sitting across.

You can see your own face.

Bring the attention and the details of your own face into your minds eye.

Notice that you are human.

Notice that you are just a person.

Look at how beautiful you are.

Look how beautifully imperfect that you are.

Imagine your own eyes.

Locking with them.

Seeing the pain that you are experiencing.

Knowing that this pain is a burden.

And saying to ourselves,

Taking our own hands in our hands.

Everything is going to be okay.

I will love you no matter what.

We are in this together.

No matter what happens,

I accept and I love you.

I will always be here.

I know that things are difficult at the moment,

But they will pass.

And soon things will be better.

And then we can enjoy our time.

But for now,

I will say to myself that it's okay that things aren't the way we want them to be.

It's okay that we are not the way we want to be.

Things will get better.

Things will improve.

It may seem a long time off,

But we are on this journey together.

And I will show you all the love,

Support and understanding that you need.

It's okay to fail.

It's okay.

I love you.

I will always be here and I will always love you,

Even if you fail.

I want you now to bring your attention back into the room.

Bring your attention back into your body and say to yourself out loud,

I love myself and I deserve to be loved.

I accept myself for who I am right now.

Even though things are not perfect,

I know they'll get better.

That's really good.

Well done.

Now remember that everybody has these emotions at time and things do always get better.

It's okay at times to have doubt.

It's okay at times not to feel complete.

We're on a journey and sometimes the road is rocky and this is the time to show ourselves kindness,

Love and compassion.

We deserve this.

We are good enough.

We are good enough as we are.

Go and have a lovely day.

Send yourself love through the day.

You deserve it.

The second I started visualizing myself the tears started coming. By the end of the practice my cheeks were totally wet with tears. Thank you for showing me that I have value and opening my eyes to forgiving myself
