Good morning.
Welcome to your morning meditation.
This meditation is focused on starting your day with purpose and clarity.
We're going to go through a visualization of how it is that you want to feel and what you want to accomplish throughout your day.
The intention here is to really cultivate a sense of calm and clarity while setting a positive tone for the day ahead.
To start this meditation,
Get into a comfortable seated position,
Sitting up straight,
Allowing yourself to relax the shoulders a bit,
And start taking a few deep energizing breaths.
Just in through the nose and out from the mouth.
In through the nose and out from the mouth.
Continue focusing on taking deep breaths and with each inhale start to imagine pulling energy in through from the bottom soles of your feet,
Pulling energy from the earth beneath you,
And allowing it to work its way up your legs,
Through your body,
Down through the arms and the fingertips,
Up through the top of the crown of the head.
Just feeling the energy running through you,
All of the energy that you're going to need throughout this day.
And if your mind starts to wander during this meditation,
As the mind does,
Just gently return your attention back to your breath and back to imagining that energy current running through you.
Continue to feel this energy spreading throughout your body.
You might even start to feel a warming sensation or a tingling sensation within your body.
You might even visualize this as a light and just really feel that energy filling you up.
And with each exhale start to imagine you're blowing away anything that does not serve you,
Anything that you don't need,
Blowing away obstacles,
Blowing away tension,
Blowing away stress,
Worries.
Starting to notice how you're creating a cycle,
Energy in and anything that does not serve is out.
And now that you're filled with this vital energy necessary to carry you through the day,
Start to visualize how you want to move through your day,
Feeling centered,
Feeling focused,
Calm.
You might even do a little mental rehearsal.
What are the things you're going to do?
And notice how you can maintain a feeling of being centered and calm and focused as you're going through this day.
And when you're visualizing,
This might not always come in the form of pictures in the mind.
This might just be thoughts,
Ideas,
Whatever way it comes through for you,
That's okay.
There's no right or wrong way to do this.
As you continue to visualize how you want to move through your day and really connect those feelings,
Set an intention for yourself today.
What's something you'd like to bring into your experience?
Is it joy,
Maybe patience or presence?
Set that intention for yourself.
You might even turn that into a mantra.
Today,
I will experience and finish that sentence,
Joy,
Patience,
Presence.
Repeat that mantra silently to yourself for the remainder of this meditation.
Breathing in all of those feelings,
That centered,
Focused,
Calm,
And whatever it is that you'd like to bring into your experiences.
