
Heart Healing During This Pandemic
You may be feeling a heaviness in your chest during this worldwide experience. This is unlike anything you have ever gone through before. Join me in thanking your heart for being with you through all of this. Let us allow our hearts to rest and love again.

Hello and welcome to this loving meditation.
I would like to invite you to take a few minutes away from whatever you are doing and bring yourself into this calm safe space.
Start by finding a comfortable position.
This could be sitting or lying down and I'll give you a moment to find what feels most comfortable for you.
When you are comfortable allow your eyes to gently close and come down into your breath,
Into your body.
Take a long slow deep breath in and then exhale slowly and just allow any tension to melt away as you gradually relax more and more deeply with each breath.
If you find your mind wander to thoughts about the day or what's going on in the world right now that's perfectly okay.
Forgive yourself for any negative feelings you may be having.
I would like to remind you that what you are going through right now is unlike anything you have ever experienced before.
Allow yourself to feel these emotions.
Allow yourself to breathe.
Allow yourself to rest.
Allow yourself to heal.
Let your thoughts come and go like clouds passing by and gently bring yourself back to focus on your breath.
Take another deep breath in and let it out.
Now I would like you to bring your awareness to the center of your chest to the beating of your heart.
Place one hand or both hands on your heart and just breathe.
Taking a deep breath in and pushing all of your air out.
Take another deep breath in and let it out.
Your heart has been with you through everything good and bad.
It beats to the tears that fall from your eyes and it beats to the laughter you share with loved ones.
Your heart has soaked in all of what's going on right now.
Your heart has been holding all of these emotions.
This fear and worry.
This love and compassion.
You feel in your heart emotions for the loved ones you cannot hold right now.
You feel in your heart emotions for those who are sick and suffering.
You feel in your heart emotions for those who are working tirelessly to save and protect lives.
You feel in your heart emotions for your family,
Your parents,
Your children.
You feel in your heart emotions for your inner self.
Now in this calm safe space let's give your heart a break for a moment.
Let it rest.
Hold your heart in your hands and just breathe.
Take a slow deep breath in and let out all of your air.
Take another deep breath in and exhale any tension held in your heart right now.
As you hold your heart in your hands send a loving thank you to your heart for beating strong throughout all of this.
Thank your heart for holding this weight.
Thank your heart for showing you your emotional connection to the world around you.
As you breathe in and out picture in your mind your heart.
Imagine a thick layer of clay has hardened around your precious heart.
Envision a dark earthy red color.
This hard clay has acted as a shield protecting your heart from emotional trauma.
This clay shield has served its purpose and has protected you from hurtful experiences but it is also making it challenging for your heart to do what a heart needs to do.
Your heart just wants to beat loud and send loving energy throughout your body and into the world.
This collective emotional experience that we are going through right now is calling on your heart and your heart is ready to open.
Feel a warm comforting energy pulsating in your hands.
Picture this energy in your hands starting to glow.
Within your hands you have a glowing power of healing and with each breath in this power grows brighter and with each exhale the power in your hands gets stronger.
Breathing in brighter breathing out stronger.
Now you can send this loving healing energy from your hands to your heart.
Picture your powerful healing energy surrounding your heart and soaking through this clay shield.
You notice the clay begins to crack a little.
Small pieces of clay begin to fall away and tiny rays of white light shine through the cracks.
Your heart has been waiting for this for a long time.
More clay pieces fall away revealing bright white light shining in all directions and as the last pieces of clay disappear your whole heart is beaming with this white light.
Your chest starts to feel warm.
Your heart starts to beat slow and steady and strong and with each beat the white light spreads throughout your body.
Your heart is spreading its loving energy to every cell in your body.
Feel the love in each area of your body now.
With your hands on your heart take a deep breath in and let all of your air out and repeat the following affirmations to yourself.
I forgive myself.
I care for myself.
I am learning to love myself.
Now with this beautiful glow of light saturating your entire body with loving energy watch this light grow brighter with each breath breathing in and out.
Now imagine all of this loving light energy throughout your entire body rushing and gathering back at your heart center.
Your entire body is sending this love back to your heart and your heart is beaming with this healing love.
Feel this love pulsate at your heart center.
Your heart is ready to deliver it to the world.
Now with your hands imagine pushing this loving light from your heart towards the people around you.
The people you live with and your loved ones near or far.
Your heart light beams are now shooting out towards your loved ones sending them loving energy.
Take a deep breath in and let it out.
Now extend your heart's loving energy to anyone who is sick or suffering.
Send them your loving light right here and now.
Take another deep breath in and let it out.
And now direct your beautiful loving energy to all those that are working so hard to help others in this time of need.
In this moment right now send them your love.
Take a deep breath in and let it out.
Your heart is still glowing strong.
You have so much love to give.
Imagine your loving energy spreading all around the world reaching every inch of the earth.
Send your love out to your beautiful planet and encase it in your protective loving light.
Take a deep breath in and let it out.
Now bring your awareness back to your glowing heart.
It feels so warm after allowing it to do its loving work.
Your heart is grateful and now you can picture your heart releasing its loving light back throughout your body reaching every cell in your body again and reminding you that you are always loved and taken care of.
With your hands on your heart thank your heart once again for being so loving.
And as we near the end of our meditation with your eyes still closed you can rest your hands at your sides and focus again on your breath.
Taking a deep breath in and letting it out.
Bring your awareness to your surroundings now to the surface below you to the sounds around you.
You can now wake up your body by wiggling your fingers and toes.
Slowly open your eyes and continue on with your day keeping with you a feeling of peace and love.
Take a deep breath in and smile as you exhale.
