Stoic Morning Affirmations: A 3-Minute Reset
by Jon Brooks
Three minutes. The Stoics carried short sentences with them through the day like a knife on the belt. Epictetus called these ready to hand, ideas you reach for in the moment. This is four of those sentences, drawn from Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus and Seneca, with a little silence between each, and one quiet plan for the day. No framing lecture, no deep breath work, just the practice itself, for the mornings when you don't have time for the long version. Best used as a daily ritual. Return tomorrow and notice what shifts.
