Good morning,
Welcome to a new day,
Welcome to a practice for you to start your day with intention and awareness.
If you haven't already,
I invite you to sit up out of bed,
Finding a comfortable place somewhere you won't be disturbed for the next 10 minutes,
Closing down your eyes if that's common safe for you.
And we will start with three deep cleansing breaths here together.
Ground us into this practice to this day.
Deep breath in through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth.
Deep breath in through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth.
Last one in through the nose,
Holding at the top for three,
Two,
Exhale through the mouth.
Just allowing your breath to return to its normal breathing pattern in through the nose and out,
In through the nose and out.
Bringing your hands to your heart,
Bringing our awareness to our heartbeat,
Noticing the interconnectedness with the breath and the heartbeat.
Can you slow your heartbeat down with your breath?
Can you start your day slow,
Deep and intentionally?
And returning your palms to a place that is comfortable for you and allowing your awareness of your body to expand,
Bringing a sense of appreciation that we simply have a body that breathes for us,
Carries us,
All of our organs,
Our muscles,
Everything that connects us into one being.
Simply becoming aware and then adding on that sense of appreciation.
How amazing that we get to live another day,
Abundant with opportunity,
Connection,
Healing,
Joy.
Starting to expand your awareness into your surroundings,
Whether you are in your room,
In your house,
In nature.
Starting to become aware of your surroundings,
Keeping your eyes closed,
Noticing the sounds,
Becoming aware of the sounds but not needing to attach.
What do you notice?
Can you smell?
Deepening your breath and bringing and expanding this appreciation for your surroundings,
For everything that allows you to be here in this space and staying with your breath.
We invite you to see if you can feel into that joy,
That appreciation,
That abundance in your space,
In your body,
How you have everything you need right here.
See if you can expand this energy out from your body into your surroundings.
With each breath it deepens,
It expands,
It grows and now with this energy,
In this space,
In this vibration,
This frequency that you've created,
Making your intention for the day ahead.
Who are you going to be today?
What energy do you want to give today?
As you visualize and deepen this feeling,
This connection with yourself that already exists out there,
Placing your hands back over your heart and breathing in the intention in your body in this moment.
All back to yourself,
To yourself,
Calling all of your power back in this body,
In this space for this day.
And holding on to that energy,
Invite you to drop down your palms to a comfortable place and open your eyes.
Familiarize yourself with your surroundings and holding on to that energy that you've created,
That intention that you've set.
Whenever you're ready,
Standing up and beginning your day with that intention,
With that energy.
