Remember when you were a kid, how you LOVED creating and could go through reams of paper creating for the fun of it? We go to school and comparison and judgment kick in, sucking the joy away. This meditation uses the Ho'oponopono technique to help begin to release the emotions connected to these memories and allow space for that childlike joy to come back through. My name is Jo Tucker and this meditation is to help you when you're feeling overwhelmed with the idea of creativity.

Please don't listen to this meditation while you're driving or operating heavy machinery.

Now find yourself somewhere comfortable to sit or lay down where you won't be disturbed and close your eyes.

We're going to begin by taking three deep breaths.

Inhale for one,

Two,

Three.

Hold one,

Two,

Three.

Exhale one,

Two,

Three.

Now I want you to picture an old-fashioned set of screens in front of you,

The kind where they would sit on top of each other and on each screen I want you to see all the times that you've felt ashamed or embarrassed,

Overwhelmed or anxious about something you were creating.

As you see these popping up on the screen now,

Notice if they're moving or if they're still.

Are they coloured or are they black and white?

Now at the bottom of each TV screen there's a little printer.

Now pops the Polaroid still of each memory.

To the left of you there's a table.

You place each Polaroid onto the table.

Now attached to each Polaroid is a cord and the cord is attaching the photo to your stomach.

On the table is a sharp cutting tool.

As you pick up that cutting tool you begin to cut away the cords one at a time and as you cut the cords they begin to sizzle leading all the way up to the Polaroid burning them away now.

With the remaining cords in your stomach begin to pull them out,

Pulling them all the way out.

Some of them are deeply rooted,

Just keep pulling until they're all the way out and throw the remaining cords away from you now and repeat after me,

I'm sorry,

Please forgive me,

Thank you,

I love you,

I'm sorry,

Please forgive me,

Thank you,

I love you,

I'm sorry,

Please forgive me,

Thank you,

I love you,

I'm sorry,

I forgive you,

Thank you,

I love you,

I'm sorry,

I forgive you,

Thank you,

I love you,

I'm sorry,

I forgive you,

Thank you,

I love you.

Now opening up away from the table now you begin to notice the bright white light coming down and surrounding your whole body.

There's this white light fills your body up with warmth and safety.

You turn away from the table now and repeat after me,

I release you.
