Do you feel revived and refreshed and ready for something else?
I really wish that all of us could just go on these little retreats just to stop for a moment doing what we're doing and get out of a pattern.
And then we can come back and we can think about who we are,
How we want to resonate,
How do we want to show up and what we are really to let go of.
I'm trusting that we will all find ways to do this for ourselves because this is part of the reset that we're being asked to take part in quickly,
Become aware,
Revitalize,
Reset,
Reconnect.
So fabulous.
It's very hard to reset without us being able to be in a place where we feel held and safe.
Where we're in this beautiful capsule that can contain us.
For those of you who can give yourself these little moments away,
This is a really good thing to do.
If we can come back and define these places of peace within us,
There is enormous disruption in the field.
We truly want to keep connecting together and then to ourself again.
So keep connecting to one another,
Holding the space,
Being as conscious as we can with each other.
And then reconnecting to our own energy field,
Resetting.
And every time we hit a little bump or something goes awry,
Then we just have to know that really wasn't the path for us.
Something comes up and you think,
Yes,
This is a door opening and you move into it and you open it.
Then your being just says,
Not the perfect place for me to be.
It's okay,
Perhaps,
But not the greatest place.
Something in us says to us,
Step aside,
Let this one go by.
If you can allow yourself to do that,
Gosh,
Wouldn't that be wonderful?
If all of us could learn to not get stuck.
It's our sense of burden and obligation that gets us stuck all the time,
Especially women.
We have a very,
Very hard time of just stepping out of stuff.
And saying,
Okay,
This doesn't suit me,
This is not for me.
So treasures,
If you can rethink that,
It's gonna help so,
So much.
Because that is a little bit about what we want to talk about today,
Is this lurking sense of doom that we have to do this and we have to stay here and we have to put up with this nonsense.
And all the time,
There is this lurking sense within us,
This is not it,
This is not okay.
Imagine if all of us really started to listen to that and we started to use our being as the inner compass that it truly is.
Connecting in to our guiding system and then helping ourselves to maneuver through this world with more ease,
Grace,
And flow.
That truly is what we want to do.
We want to do it quickly and consistently.
That's the trick,
Do it consistently.
So today we're talking about the story of distraction,
What is distracting us and what that's about,
And how to be with it,
What it gives to us.
What does distraction give to us of any value,
If there is at all?
In the sense that we have within us when we are playing in that outer field that's not aligned completely.
So let's come into this beautiful space together.
Let's hold each other.
And then we come into a very,
Very high vibration so that we can connect and hold support.
Uplift one another.
Let's do that now,
My treasures.
Just where you are.
Take a deep breath in.
Then a long,
Slow breath.
Relax your whole body here,
My lovely.
Thank you for being present.
And your beautiful mind for knowing yourself in this moment in time.
It is such a gift for us.
Not just to be present as in body.
But present in heart,
Mind,
Soul,
Body,
The entire package.
In the moments that we come into realization.
In all the moments that we can create these resets.
These are the moments of heightened realization when we're starting to know who we are.
Because of our life,
Because of the stories,
Because of Qatar.
We get to know who this beautiful being is.
That is being steered along through its heart and soul.
We are to move along this journey as it is a journey.
It truly is a journey to remember.
The remembering within it is to remember who we are in it.
I love the title of that little book,
A Journey to Remember.
It truly is that.
So if we can remember who we are in this moment.
Remember that we're here on purpose,
That we are divine beings of light and love.
No matter what has happened in our life,
No matter what we've accomplished or not.
We are here on time,
On purpose.
And this vehicle is a one-time gift.
This family,
This setting,
This environment.
This time of humanity's journey.
It's a one-time gift.
Under that now.
As you breathe into your being again.
Fill yourself up with this beautiful life force energy.
And feel as though you can soothe your whole being and relax again.
Soften down,
Soften your tummy,
Balance your body,
Drop your shoulders.
Smooth the skin on your beautiful face.
Relax your jaw.
Just be here.
May it be that whatever it is,
It will help us.
That will connect to something,
Some memory,
Some awakening within each and every one of us.
Whenever that might be,
That we will be ready to hear.
And really to step into that which is for our highest good.
Not just what we think is going to be great for us,
But there is the master design,
The divine design,
That is asking us to step into that.
That design is already there.
It is perfect.
Divinely orchestrated.
If we can get in sync.
With that,
It's going to just be so much easier.
So let's rest into this moment and as we ask our guides,
Angels,
Divine presence,
Step in,
Be close,
Be here,
Be with me.
You feel that around you now.
Feel your guides.
Thank them for being so present.
As we connect into the idea of distraction.
The art of distraction.
We've truly made it an art,
Haven't we?
In all the years that we were growing up.
A fun little way to really think of this is the way when we were little ones,
Or if we have children,
You might know this too.
When I was a little one.
And I stubbed my toe or bumped my knee against something or fell off.
Some climbing apparatus,
Which I was always doing.
That out would come the adult or the caregiver and they would spank the stone or spank the climber because the climber's fault that I'd bumped myself and fought.
It was such a silly performance but you know children are thoroughly amused by that and they start to giggle and they love it because it's hilarious and for a moment they can forget their pain.
It is a wonderful distraction for children who are just feeling pain and don't really know what to do with it.
Or have injured themselves in some way.
We just want to calm them down to breathe,
To continue to breathe.
And all the years when I was teaching,
Oh my goodness me,
It was just always so much fun to watch every single child would have a different reaction to things.
Some would be absolutely indignant,
Insulted by the silly nonsense,
The thing that they'd fallen onto,
Over,
Or injured themselves in some way.
They'd have this like,
How dare that?
How dare that be?
They'd have this indignation.
And some would just roll around with mirth when you spank the stone.
Knocked a step and told it to behave itself and not trip my baby child.
It was so sweet,
The reactions that they all came through these little ones.
But what we're really doing then is we are distracting.
And we're distracting these little people from their pain.
And it is a kind thing to do because we truly don't want them to suffer.
We don't want anyone necessarily to suffer.
When we distract and we say,
Look at the bird over there,
It does pull us out of the moment when the drama.
And the hysteria and all the stuff sets in.
When we shift our focus outward,
Studies now will tell us that all we really have to do when we're in these moments,
When we're feeling compacted and impacted by life,
That to do one little thing with your eyes is just to open up a broader spectrum through your vision.
Try and look through the peripheral vision and look as far into the distance as you possibly can.
There's so many beautiful tricks where you just put your head to the side and then look up at 45 and then down at 45 degrees and you look up and look down,
Look up,
Look down,
Then switch to the other side,
Look up,
Look down,
Look up,
Look down.
All of these create a little bit of a re-patterning.
And give us a distraction,
But also open up our awareness.
And this helps us get out of the moment where we're so absorbed with the pain or the sadness of the thing that's going on.
These are good techniques.
But there is a reason for us to be in the pain.
Because the pain is bumping us into an awareness.
And awareness in its own is a jolly good thing for us to come into.
We want to become aware.
We want to know and we want to teach the children that if they touch something that's hot,
They're going to burn.
But how would they possibly even know that burning hot touch?
How do they even know that unless they've felt it to some degree?
With a bit of luck,
Not in a huge way where they're scorched,
But just a gentle touch on something that's a little bit warmer than it's comfortable.
But no actual burning.
But to understand the concept of something is what our human is here to do.
This human,
This being,
Our form,
Can only understand and relate to this life if it has some relation to this life.
That means we've got to come into this life willing to interconnect,
To bump,
To collide,
Smash and crash into the stuff and the peoples around us.
Hopefully we'll learn to do it with more elegance and more grace,
And we won't make it such a great big train smash event.
But sometimes it is like that.
All the time we are gaining immense information,
Data.
Data is coming into the form,
In this form,
To be informed.
And all of this that is outside of us is giving us a sense.
Of what that is.
So then we go back to our old patterns where we just distract ourselves and tell ourselves we're not allowed to feel.
Quickly look at the little birdie.
Change our focus from the thing that is causing us pain.
And I truly believe that is part of the problem that we're in right now.
There is so much pain in this world.
So much heartache and devastation.
But because it's everywhere and because it just comes and fed into us in dramatic flashes.
We don't have time to connect to the relevance of that pain,
The significance of that suffering.
We just see it and hear it and it goes,
Oh,
Enough being.
And then the next little bit of information comes in and smacks upon us.
So our darling adrenal system,
Our limbic system is constantly in vigilance,
Tight little stomachs.
And we're burning out our adrenal systems because we are constantly worried about the thing that's going to bombard us or hit us.
And we want to not feel it.
So why do you think these little children sit with their devices?
Endless scrolling.
Because it's the safest place for them to be right now.
This place that is so filled with all the stuff that's going on overreactive.
They've learned the art of distraction perfectly.
The parents are not loving it at all.
They want them to be with it and in the program and in this life,
But they don't want to be in this life.
I truly believe that we should have been in a different setup already.
But we've been lazy,
So lazy to step up and to step in to who we truly are and shine the light that we are.
We have forgotten who we are.
That's my job.
Remind you,
Remind me,
Remind every dear soul with whom I connect.
Remember who you are.
Because the moment we remember,
We come back into truth.
We don't need the distractions to take us away from that which is coming in,
Input.
This that is activating in and around us.
Let's not be distracted anymore.
Let us pay attention but let us hold our attention not just in oh I see this now see this now see the next shiny thing and jump in the scattered way because our scattered energy is scattering our potential to do immense healing.
Please hear that.
When we are playing in this kind of looking at everything,
Everything's going on,
It's teaching our mind and body not to absorb any of this information,
This data.
So we're hearing this and feeling that our systems are going,
Oh my gosh,
Oh my gosh,
I'm not safe.
We close up even more.
And these little bits that are coming in are not being processed.
They're just staying,
Hovering around us.
And so we develop this lurking sense of doom.
This impending doom that we feel.
Oh my gosh.
And then we say we're depressed.
Or we can't breathe,
Or we're having lung problems,
Or we're just so sad,
We don't know what to do,
And the world is so awful.
It's because we're not processing properly.
The art of distraction was so well taught to us.
And it was picked up by all the animals.
Agencies outside of us.
That are using that as an incredible manipulation tool.
Because if we can't focus on something,
If we can't appreciate even the depth of pain within it,
Then we can do nothing without energy being to help and support that space.
How often have you been sitting and watching the news or sitting with a cluster of people who are just all talking about life and the dramas of everything?
And you come away from that feeling so utterly helpless and lost.
What's the point of this game?
It's just too awful for words.
But imagine if we are with a cluster of beings.
And someone brings in an awareness.
Some bumps that is very hard for us to see.
Some pain or some burn that is very hard to process.
Something that we are watching or witnessing in the world around us.
Instead of distracting ourselves and allowing more and more of this input to come in,
Imagine this group can sit together now and they go,
Oh gosh,
There is a place.
For us to use our energy.
The resource of this human being.
This being that is so full with love.
To gather all of us in this moment and channel our energy towards that point of pain.
It's like breathing a breath of life into that pit of pain.
But we don't do that,
Do we?
Because we're all distracting each other and we're bouncing from subject to subject and thing to thing.
And that's what the news does.
It discombobulates our being.
Everyone speaks so fast.
If you notice how quickly these presenters speak,
And you've got to hang on to every word to listen because they speak so fast.
And it's like we're being rammed in with all this cognitive dissociating,
Hideous information,
Just smashing into us,
Machine gunning into our senses.
Ah,
Such a game.
Switch off those wretched things.
Please switch them off.
We are of no use when we are in this pain of great distraction.
When we can no longer face the depths of the human suffering and pain.
When we don't want to see it.
Where we don't want to feel the burden.
Because if we can feel the burn,
The sadness and the hardship.
We can make our minds up to do something else.
A child that learns that this is hot.
Don't touch the fireplace.
It's hot.
Don't be doing that.
That child has got some capacity in them now to discern,
To choose,
Decide.
To notice.
We've given them tools to see and interpret and then make up their mind how they want to be with this information.
And they carry that right into their whole life.
They start being mindful of their step,
Watching how they're going.
There is a higher connection with themself as mind body being in the space time reality.
And they're starting to process that in a different way.
Not being distracted,
But being very connected to this life.
And to the journey that we are to create here.
And in this mindfulness,
There is an awareness and a cognition of what is to come in.
What it is that I can create and do in this moment.
I can flip the switch.
I can change something.
I can change my behavior.
And I can think of something else.
This is the gift.
We can change our behavior.
By not being so reactive to all the stuff around us,
Not being manipulated in this blindly disgusting way.
That we want to now start processing in a very different way,
Not allowing the distractions,
Not allowing ourselves to be bombarded with all this stuff.
But to be able to focus on where there might be a point of pain.
The HeartMath Institute.
And there's that other beautiful woman,
Power of Eight.
Oh,
Now why does her name escape me?
One of you will remember that in a moment.
This capacity that we have to focus our energy,
There's been so much evidence of if we focus on something and we say,
This is not okay,
This hurts,
There is pain.
We don't distract ourselves and we don't fall into the lurking sense of doom,
Which is all about our sense of being hopeless,
Inept.
We don't fall into either of those categories.
And we remember that we are here,
Able to know and feel.
And because we can feel,
We can switch again.
The vibration of pain is a very low vibration.
But for every one of us,
We've understood what that is.
And we know that we don't want it.
And we never want to play in that energy ever again.
All of us who've understood the pain have a deep longing in us that says,
Oh,
If only it could be this.
When you know if only it could be this,
I wish it could.
The dreaming,
The wishing,
The longing.
When you know that,
You are a healer.
Because you know what that feeling is like and that feeling is an energy that gets transmitted.
Enough of us gather.
And we transmit a different story.
Every time you are bombarded with the news and all the horrible stuff,
Focus on one thing.
Focus perhaps on the peace and the lightness,
The kindness,
Focus on something.
And then think about all those around you who might also collaborate in that and focus on something else.
You there in your little part of the world and this one's in that little part of the world.
Little lights going on and we start reminding each other we have this incredible capacity and this potential to do something else.
We've just got to grow up now.
Stop spanking the stone and the step for hurting us.
Humanity is hurting itself.
We are not seeing what the picture is.
We have allowed ourselves to become so distracted.
And so detached from the story.
That we no longer have remembered who we truly are,
That we are healers and travelers through time.
And we hold an awareness of a frequency.
Which we know very well as pain,
Despair.
But in that,
That same frequency is the frequency of upliftment,
Harmony and grace,
Kindness and compassion.
They reside together.
They sit right next to each other.
If we distract ourselves,
We're not working on our potential.
We're not expanding our capacity to work as healers.
Pay attention,
Get clear,
Come back home,
Remember who you are,
And then you've got it,
My lovelies.
This is the way we're going to make this great switch frequency.
This is one of the ways we want to start paying attention to it.
Let's take a deep breath into that.
And then this long,
Slow out-breath,
Just settle that down.
Make an agreement within you.
That it's okay to notice,
To see,
To understand,
To feel.
It's okay.
What are we doing with it?
That is the most vital thing we can ask ourselves.
So who am I?
In this that is being revealed to me.
What is it that I can bring into this frequency,
This energy realm?
What consciousness could I bring in here now?
