Hey it's Julie.
This is a 10 minute practice to help you restore your energy.
I'd lie down for this practice but you could do it seated as well.
Placing your left hand on your heart and your right hand on your belly and start to close down the eyes and begin to bring your awareness to your body and to your breath.
Take an inhale through the nose,
Come all the way to the top of the inhale and hold your breath and then open your mouth and let it go.
Take another big inhale through the nose,
Coming all the way to the top of the breath,
Hold the breath at the top and then open the mouth and let it go.
Inhale through the nose,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Hold,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Exhale,

Release.
Breathing naturally.
Bring both hands to the lower ribs or just to the ribcage.
Slowing the breath right back down now.
Feeling really,
Really,
Really subtly the widening of the lower ribs.
So subtle.
And this is going to get even more subtle as we really slow down the breath.
Breathing in and out of the nose.
Finding a super slow inhale through the nose and you're sipping the breath in through the nose.
Breathing into the lower lobes of the lungs.
And then a super slow exhale.
It's very light,
Very slow.
A super slow inhale through the nose and a very light,
Very slow,
Very soft and super slow exhale.
Keep going like this.
Really focusing on your breath.
And really tuning into the slowness and the softness and seeing if you can even notice the change in temperature of the air as it goes in and out of the nose.
Slowing everything right down and as you do this,
Invite a feeling of lightness in the body.
A feeling of lightness in the mind.
It's our thoughts that create heaviness.
With the mind focused on the breath and the body,
Can you invite a feeling of lightness in this moment in your body?
A feeling of easefulness.
Continue breathing slowly and deeply.
Start to release the control of the breath and you can take the arms out wide now,
Finding a starfish shape.
Inviting the body to let go of the day.
And all the energy that you put out today,
Just contemplate that for a moment.
All the energy that you put into everything outside of you.
Invite that energy back into yourself this moment.
Invite all that energy back into self.
Reclaiming your energy and re-energizing the body.
And say in your own mind or out loud,
I am energized.
I choose to feel energized.
I have enough energy to carry me through the rest of my day.
Simply being aware of your body and aware of your energy.
Soaking up the practice a little bit more.
Inviting the body to feel energized.
To feel refreshed.
Just take a moment to notice how you are.
And when you're ready,
We will finish there.
Thank you so much.
