Welcome to Find Yourself Meditations.
I'm Julie LaBritain.
I invite you to sit back and close your eyes as we relax our bodies and clear our minds in preparation for our journey.
Let's begin by taking three deep breaths,
Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Allow your body to relax more and more each time you breathe.
Breathing in healing love and light and breathing out all the stress and worry from your body.
As we continue to breathe,
We'll begin to focus on relaxing our bodies.
Let's start at our feet.
Staying on your feet as you breathe,
Feel your feet relaxing.
Feel all the tension draining out of your feet.
This feeling of relaxation continues up your legs and thighs as they begin to relax.
As you continue to breathe,
Focus on your lower back and feel it relax.
Breathing in and out,
Continue to relax your body.
Feel all the tension leave your upper back and shoulders.
Feel your arms and hands relax.
Feel your neck and face relax.
Feel your whole body fully relax.
See yourself fully relaxed.
Now let's empty our minds.
As thoughts arise,
Think of them as leaves floating on a stream.
Allow them to slowly float away from you.
The thoughts become fewer and fewer until soon there are no more leaves,
Just clean,
Clear,
Flowing water.
You find yourself waking from a lovely rest in a field full of clovers.
The air is filled with the fragrance of wildflowers and rich,
Fertile soil.
You hear honeybees as they finish the last of their daily chores before heading home to the hive.
As you rise and stretch,
Your gaze is drawn to the castle that stands tall on a hill.
The sun setting behind you casts a warm glow on the rough stone of its walls.
You begin walking towards the castle.
As the sun fully sets,
The air takes on a chill.
You continue walking towards the castle as the moon rises in the night sky.
The castle shines like a beacon in the night as golden light has begun to shine through the ancient window panes.
You walk on until you arrive at the castle gates.
You are startled by the fierce warriors that stand guard outside the castle.
When they see you,
Their fierce faces change to expressions of delight as they quickly open the gates and welcome you in.
You walk up the stone stairs to the great doors of the castle.
The heavy doors open slowly.
The golden light from within pours out.
You are greeted by the servants who call the castle home.
They welcome you inside,
Helping you to remove your coat and boots.
They wrap a silken flowing robe around you and place slippers on your feet.
Both are a deep shade of emerald green.
They hold trays of assorted teas and warm cider.
You choose one,
Taking a moment to inhale the rich fragrance and then drink.
The warmth of the beverage flows down your throat,
Warming you from the chill of the evening.
The servants of the castle usher you with smiles and sweet words into an inner room.
You look around and are amazed that such a large room could be both luxurious and cozy at the same time.
The walls are covered in murals and painted with rich,
Deep,
Shimmering colors.
They show beautiful depictions of Ireland,
The people,
The ancient warriors,
The fairies,
And animals.
The ceiling is painted like the sky,
The edges with flowers and bees.
You are directed to a large chair that can only be described as a throne.
It is made from ancient wood,
Highly polished,
And painted with gold designs.
It sits next to a large fireplace at the edge of the room.
You climb onto the large throne and sink down into the velvety cushions.
A woman approaches,
Holding out a small pillow with a crown on it.
You take the crown and place it on your head.
And then you remember.
You remember your sovereignty.
The energy washes over you.
It embodies you.
Your eyes widen in shock.
You are a divine being.
You are royal.
And now,
When you're ready,
Opening your eyes,
Bringing back with you this understanding of your divinity,
Of your sovereignty,
This understanding that you are royal,
And taking it with you out into the world.
