Ground Yourself Before You Meet The Day
Before you meet the day, take a moment to ground in your body, reconnect with your breath, and notice the support available to you. This morning grounding practice invites you to bring awareness to your feet and the earth beneath you, using breath, warmth, and light to explore a sense of rootedness and support. From this grounded place, you are invited to consider how you want to show up for yourself and others throughout the day. Rather than searching for the perfect intention, you can allow a quality such as patience, curiosity, steadiness, openness, or care to arise naturally. The practice offers space to receive support before turning toward intention, then returns you to the body and your connection with the ground before beginning your day. The meditation opens and closes with a bell as a gentle cue. This recording comes from a live Journey You Own Meditation Gathering, so natural pauses and gentle references to shared practice may be present.
