Welcome to this guided meditation to help bring you hope and healing.
So settle into a comfortable position and allow your body to sink into the surface that's supporting you and take a nice cleansing deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth,
Letting the jaw release with the exhale and allowing your body to release any tension right now that it's holding onto,
Breathing in and breathing out anything that can be released before starting this practice today.
If you notice any distractions or anxious thoughts,
See if you can just notice them in a non-judgmental way,
Just taking a neutral,
Observing stance towards it,
Just noticing it like leaves on a stream floating by.
They come and then they pass and just bring your attention back to your body and your breath,
Breathing in and out.
And now I'd like for you to imagine the warm energy of the universe like a yellow light swirling above you,
All of the experiences that have brought you here,
The ancestors before you,
Contained in this yellow light,
Bringing you comfort and peace,
The universe reassuring you that you are divinely loved,
You have a purpose,
You will overcome your struggles,
Allow yourself to receive this energy right now and allow this yellow light to enter into your third eye,
On your forehead between your eyes,
And then feel it slowly begin to tingle throughout your head,
To your ears,
Nose,
And mouth,
Down your chin and neck,
Continuing to flow and tingle into your shoulders,
Your chest and upper back,
Your shoulders,
Your chest,
And your upper back,
Down both arms into the tips of your fingers,
To your midsection,
Flowing warmly and gently down to the upper legs.
To your knees and lower legs,
And finally your ankles,
Your feet and your toes.
Embracing the power of this light from the universe,
Radiating throughout your body,
Bringing you strength,
Wholeness and wellness,
Endurance for the future and what lies ahead,
Allow it to continue to radiate throughout your body as you continue to breathe into stillness,
Thanking yourself for taking the time today to meditate,
To rest your mind and connect to yourself and the universe.
