Good morning and welcome to this brief practice of gratitude.
My name is Karen Jones and I'm a feminine embodiment coach and mentor.
And it is my passion to help people to thrive using guided meditation.
So wherever you are,
I invite you to sit with your back straight.
Keep your feet flat on the floor.
And come to your breath.
Just observing the air as it comes in,
As it releases.
Together as you're breathing in,
You're receiving all the good of the universe.
And as you breathe out,
You're breathing out your blessing to the world.
Breathing in,
Filling yourself with all the good.
Breathing out,
Blessing your day,
The people around you and your life.
Let your awareness drop further now down into your hips and pelvis for a woman,
Into your lower belly if you're a man.
And as if you're breathing in and out of that area.
Let your awareness drop even further down your legs,
To your feet and out from the bottom of your feet into the center of the earth.
The connection to the earth.
And bring your awareness back to your hips and pelvis for a woman,
To your lower belly if you're a man.
And bring to mind what you are grateful for.
For waking up this morning,
For a new day,
For the sun outside your window or the rain or the wind.
For loved ones,
Family,
Friends,
Pets in your life.
And let yourself really feel that feeling experience of gratitude,
Deep appreciation.
Where you are alive,
Present.
Now I invite you to extend that gratitude,
That appreciation to yourself.
Let yourself be like a glass that you're filling and filling up with water.
This water,
This liquid of gratitude and appreciation.
Let yourself be full.
And now out of this overflowing abundance of gratitude that you filled yourself up with,
I invite you to extend that gratitude toward the people in your life.
Maybe it's your family,
Maybe it's dear friends,
Neighbors,
Colleagues and coworkers,
Your pets.
Extending that feeling experience of gratitude that these beings are in your life.
And further extend this gratitude toward people you don't know,
That are halfway around the world or on the other side of the country,
You've never met them.
And yet you can express gratitude that they are here.
And extend this gratitude toward the whole earth.
Without this earth,
You could not survive.
The food,
The sun,
The rain,
Shelter,
Trees and grass,
Animals and birds,
Insects,
Fish,
The earth and all that's in it.
Expressing and extending your gratitude toward this earth,
This magnificent earth.
And now bless yourself with gratitude one more time.
And I leave you with a thought.
How can you be a blessing for all those persons that you come in contact with today?
How can you be a blessing to these other people and situations?
