This is a short meditation to help you drift off to sleep. You will have a short body scan to relax and open your body. Imagining warm water gently running through the open spaces of your body. Drifting to deep sleep. I hope you enjoy this and will try my other meditations.

It's time to let go of the day and melt into the gentle edges of night.

It's time to let sleep approach.

Get comfortable and let yourself be as light as a music note hanging in the air,

As light as air.

Imagine your body lengthening from wall to wall.

Feel the entire body beginning to create space.

Your shoulders expanding from wall to wall.

Lengthening,

Relaxing,

Restoring.

Focus on the space between your eyebrows and try to widen this space with your mind.

Let your facial muscles be soft,

Jaw relaxed.

Try to lengthen the space between your ears and back with your mind.

Beginning to drift.

Let all of the muscles in your neck be heavy.

Heavy.

Imagining space in the shoulders.

Relaxing the skin on the back of your shoulders.

Your blades melting down the back like warm syrup.

Melting all the way down.

Melting down.

Arms heavy and limp.

Relax the bones in your legs.

Relaxing the skin on top of your feet.

You are so airy and light,

The night can easily carry you.

You are so loose that you can imagine warm water gently running through the open spaces of your body.

Loose and relaxed,

You become part of the current.

Water just washing through you.

Your spine moves in gentle waves,

Becoming part of the flow.

Your body has no outline,

No shape.

Just flowing like water.

Flowing into deep rest.

As you peacefully drift towards sleep.

Drifting deeper.

You are between worlds,

In the twilight between waking and sleeping.

Just flowing like water.

Drifting deeper.

Closer to sleep.

Releasing.

Drifting deeper.

Drifting away.

Allowing sleep.

Sleep.
