Close your eyes and take a deep breath in,

Filling your lungs with air.

Exhale slowly and feel your body relax.

Accepting death and impermanence allows us to appreciate and cherish the people and things we have in our lives when we understand that nothing lasts forever.

However,

We are more likely to make meaningful connections with others and to take care of ourselves and our relationships.

Breathe deeply and steadily and bring your attention to this present moment.

Allow yourself to simply be here without any expectation or judgment,

Just present and impermanence is a natural part of life.

Everything that is born will die and nothing stays the same forever.

This can be difficult to accept but is a fact that we must face.

And when we do,

There is a deep beauty in that acceptance.

See if you can bring to mind a loved one who has passed away.

Remember the moments you shared with them,

The laughter,

The love,

And all the memories.

Acknowledge the sadness and grief that comes with their loss,

But also feel the gratitude for the time you had together and the joy that was shared.

Remind yourself that death is not the end,

But rather a natural transition from one form to another.

Just as seasons change,

So do our lives.

The memories,

Love,

And wisdom we gain from our loved ones continues to live in us and in the hearts of those who knew them.

Now think about the impermanence of your own life,

Knowing that one day you too will transition from this form into the next.

Feel yourself fill with a desire to live each day with intention and love.

A desire to cherish the moments you have with loved ones and make the most of the time you have a must stay.

Stay beautiful.
