It’s time to let your body rest. And it’s time to calm your mind. Sleep is calling to you. And even though your mind is racing with a million thoughts, tasks or worries and your body is still tense from the day, it’s time to listen to her calling you. She wants to rejuvenate you, refresh you, relax you, and fill you with the energy that was depleted from you today so you can be the best version of yourself tomorrow. The intention of today’s guided meditation is to help your body relax while your mind is distracted by Katie's voice, so you can easily enter into deep sleep.

Welcome to Meditation for Women,

A part of the Women's Meditation Network.

Hello and welcome.

I'm Katie Kramitsos and I'm so grateful that you're here with me today.

It's time to let your body rest beautiful and it's time to calm your mind.

Sleep is calling to you and even though your mind is racing with a million thoughts,

Tasks or worries and maybe your body is still tense from the day,

It's time to listen to her calling you.

She wants to rejuvenate you,

To refresh you,

To relax you,

To fill you with the energy that was depleted from you today so you can be the best version of yourself tomorrow.

So the intention of today's meditation is to help your body relax while your mind is distracted by my voice so you can easily enter into a deep sleep.

So let's begin by getting comfortable in your favorite sleeping position.

Closing your eyes and taking one deep breath in.

And let your exhale enter you into the present moment.

Feeling the weight of your body against the softness of your bed.

If you notice any discomfort in your body,

Take a moment to shift your position or relieve any tension and then feel your body relax deeper as you do.

And then simply concentrate on your breath going in and going out in its normal rhythm.

Bring your attention to your head.

Feel its weight on your pillow.

Soften your forehead and your eyes.

Relax the muscles in your cheeks and let your jaw drop and your tongue come to rest softly on the roof of your mouth.

You are extraordinary and I'm so proud of you for showing up today.

Now bring your attention to your shoulders,

Dropping them away from your ears and letting your exhale relieve their tightness.

And now to your chest.

Thank your beating heart for working for you today.

Feel your stomach soften and your arms feel the weight of sleep.

Relax them further into the bedding around you.

And feel the lull of sleep run down your hips,

Your left leg,

Your right leg so that you feel one with your bed.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

You deserve this sleep beautiful.

There is nothing you need to do right now.

Nowhere you need to be.

Sleeping asleep is the way that you can show yourself so much love right now.

If you feel any restless energy still inside of you,

Imagine yourself gathering it up and pushing it down so that it exits through your exhale through your feet.

Breathe in the restless energy and breathe it all out.

Take a deep breath in and on the exhale sink in deeper and deeper into your bed.

Now imagine a blanket,

A blanket of love covering you.

It's soft and warm.

And it reminds you that you are love.

And let it help you drift into the deepest,

Most beautiful sleep.

Thank you for this beautiful meditation. Love the way you accompany us to relax and let go toward sleep. Would be even better without the added call to action (‘please share the meditation’) at the end, which takes me back every time from almost sleeping to the mind, defeating the purpose. Nice meditation when just a short guide is all you need. However I also agree that the share message at the end is not the best finish as I personally prefer things to soften and quiet more. I would love to listen to a longer guided meditation from you that drifts a little more as it progresses - Thank you 🙏🏻
