So I'd like you to take a nice deep breath with me,
Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Take another nice deep breath for me.
And take one third deep breath for me and hold on to that breath.
Allow the tension to build in your body and as you release,
Just allow any stress and tension to be released.
Feel your body relaxing in your chair or on your bed and just start to allow the cares of the day to drift away.
I'd like you to imagine for me the centre of the earth.
See the molten core turning and imagine a beam of light and heat coming up past the mantle through the rocks,
Sand,
Crystals and earth up to the base of your feet,
Through your floorboards to wherever you are.
Feel the heat start to penetrate the soles of your feet.
Allow that heat to start moving up through your feet,
Past your ankles,
Clearing any tension or congestion as it moves up through into your calves and your shins.
The heat begins to relax you as it moves up through your knees into your thighs.
Your breath begins to slow,
Your heart rate slows and you feel any tension beginning to drain away.
That heat coming from the core now moves up into your pelvis,
Through your glutes and into the core of your body.
Coming up through your pelvic region and your reproductive organs,
Into your intestines,
Through your hips and the muscles in the lower back,
Up into the stomach and through the main organs of the body,
Through the muscles of the back,
Into the lungs,
Past your heart.
Feeling your whole chest beginning to warm and your back and your shoulder blades.
As the warmth penetrates through your shoulder blades they begin to relax and drop.
As it moves up through your shoulder blades,
Travelling down your arms,
Tumbling like a waterfall,
Relaxing your elbows,
Relaxing your wrists,
Feeling any tension in your hands and your fingers ebb away as the heat from the earth relaxes them.
That heat now moves up through your neck,
Into your jaw,
An area where we can hold quite a lot of tension.
Relaxing your jaw,
Relaxing your tongue and also relaxing those big muscles of the neck,
Relaxing them at the front and at the back.
As it begins to travel up through your cheeks,
Relaxing your eyes,
Making them so heavy that they're now tightly shut.
Knowing that nobody needs anything,
Nobody wants anything,
This is a time for you to release,
Relax and let go.
Clearing any stresses of the day,
Any worries.
As that heat now just continues up through your forehead,
Softening your brow,
Up through your chin,
Into your scalp,
Relaxing your hair follicles,
So the whole of your body wonderfully relaxed,
Warmed,
Heavy.
As that light continues to penetrate through the top of your scalp,
Out to the universe,
Traveling all the way up,
Out to the brightest star,
So your body is connected to the earth and to the universe.
I'd like you to imagine for me while you're in this wonderfully relaxed state,
That you're standing at the base of a staircase.
The staircase has 10 steps.
With each step up,
You become more and more relaxed.
1,
2,
3,
Feeling so relaxed,
Nobody wanting anything,
Nobody needing anything.
4,
5,
6,
Feeling the stairs under your feet and your hands on the baluster.
7,
8,
Almost all the way up,
Feeling deeply relaxed,
Calm and carefree.
9,
10.
As you step up from your last step,
You notice in front of you a large arched oak doorway.
As you push open the oak door,
You step out into a beautiful meadow.
The sun shines down and you can feel its warmth on your skin,
The warmth of a spring day.
There is a slight breeze and it ruffles the grass around your feet.
You see bees buzzing and you see butterflies on the wing.
You hear birds calling in the background and the scene just makes you more relaxed.
As you start to step through the meadows,
You notice deer and rabbit and maybe other wildlife scampering around,
Going about its business.
And you notice how wonderfully the world works in order,
Everything doing its job,
Going about its daily routine.
As you step forward in the meadow,
You notice a path and you follow the path.
The grass begins to change as you walk through a field of sunflowers.
The sunflowers are high and they're yellow beams of sunlight as they wave around in the breeze.
You walk through the fields feeling relaxed and calm,
The breeze ruffling your hair and smelling the pollen and the flowers.
All of this aids to relax you even more.
The field of sunflowers now gives way to a small wooded area and you follow the path in and feel relief from the rays of the sun for the dappled light that now comes down upon you.
The smell changes and you can smell the ferns and the moist earth underfoot.
You can hear a crunch with each step and each step just allows you to connect back with nature and also charges you like a battery,
Allowing the stress to come out of your feet and out of your fingertips and go back into Mother Earth who takes any negative and turns it back into a positive.
As you walk through you notice a stream and the stream is crystal clear and on the banks you notice some large stones.
These stones can represent your worries or troubles or stresses and maybe you have one or two or maybe there's one large one.
But I'd like you to pick up a stone or rock,
There's no worry about the size or the weight because you can pick it up easily and you throw it into the stream and as you throw it in those crystal clear waters start to break down those stones and those worries,
Clearing them of any negativity,
Washing away any of your cares or worries and you feel lighter.
Maybe you have a few stones to throw and as you do each one allows you to feel calmer and more relaxed and carefree.
And now all of your stones are thrown you begin to walk further along the stream until you come to a pool.
The pool is surrounded by clear quartz crystals and you take a step into the small pool submerging up to your shoulders and washing yourself in those crystal clear waters.
Removing your body of any negativity,
Removing your body of any stress and removing your body of any dis-ease.
You stay in the pool as long as you need,
The water temperature perfect for you and when you're ready you step out and your body is perfectly dry and you continue to walk along the path beside the stream.
The path starts to ebb back into the forest and you walk through and back out into the meadow.
You feel lighter and calmer than you've done in a while.
You walk back towards the oak door and as you head back through you leave behind any of those stresses and any of those tensions.
It's now time to bring this session to an end and as i count from one to five you'll slowly come back into your body or drift off into a wonderful sleep.
Whatever is right for you at this time.
One,
Feeling calm,
Relaxed and carefree.
Two,
Three,
Almost all the way back,
Feeling calm.
Four,
Five,
Back in your body,
Slowly moving your fingers and your toes ready for the rest of your day.
