In this one-minute guided mindfulness session, we'll use awareness & breathing into the side ribs to stimulate your senses and reset your body and mind. Let's take a pause together to refresh your body, clear your mind, and open up space for deeper, more expansive breaths.

Did you just open your phone and you don't even know how you got here?

Let's bring a bit more mindfulness into this moment.

We're going to breathe into the ribs together,

Yeah?

And take the hands to the outer edges of your ribs.

The elbows poke out to the side.

Now,

I want you to breathe in and imagine that you're spreading the ribcage apart.

The hands draw away from each other with the in-breath.

And on the out-breath,

The fingertips might get a little bit closer to each other.

You have two more like that.

Breathing into the sides of your ribs,

Feeling that expansion of the breath.

Breathing out,

Relax the shoulders.

Ribs gently draw back together.

Last one.

Big breath in.

Nice,

Long breath out.

Great work.

Now you can get on with your day with a little bit more focus.
