Welcome.
My name is Carrie Wade and I'm happy that you are here for this simple relaxation meditation.
Now close your eyes and allow yourself to imagine a safe place in nature.
Maybe someplace you've been before or plan to be in the future or maybe you just created within yourself.
Brighten up the colors and notice how clear it is and how good it feels to be there.
Notice the things that are moving about and how peaceful and wonderful the mood is.
Hear the sounds of nature now as they get a little louder.
You may feel the warmth of the light in the sky and the coolness of a gentle breeze.
There may be a familiar scent in the air.
A few clouds drifting gently across the sky.
The sky that goes on forever.
And a bright light that reaches you shining down between the clouds allowing you to feel warm and relaxed.
This light stands for everything that is good in life.
Such as love,
Peace,
Serenity,
Tranquility,
Pure relaxation.
Allow this light to flow through you.
Let it flow through you.
Relaxing every muscle fiber,
Cell,
And tissue.
As it flows through you from head to toe,
Allow it to completely relax each muscle group.
As it begins to flow through the forehead,
Feel the stress lines simply spread apart.
It automatically continues to flow through the eyes as the thread muscles behind the eyes simply unravel and the eyes get heavier.
The white light automatically continues to flow down over the temples and through the front of the neck.
And at the same time down the back of the head,
The neck,
And the shoulders.
Allow gravity to pull the shoulders down into their natural position.
The mind may wander and drift or it may become drowsy and foggy.
Whatever happens is completely natural.
You'll still hear the relaxing sound of my voice which is soon to become a comfortable feeling in the background.
My words will soon blend together and flow into your mind naturally.
So you'll be free from having to listen to the words because the unconscious mind will recognize what they mean anyway.
And the mind simply unwinds like a big spring letting go.
As the sun rises on one side of the earth and sets on the other,
Each day is similar to the next with common themes.
Each day has learning lessons of its own regardless of the ups and downs,
Modes,
Stresses.
It has nothing to do with this.
This is just pure simple relaxation.
All fears,
Guilts,
And self-blame are released.
Problems,
Pressures,
And stresses built up over time are useless and unnecessary.
Allow the white light to continue to flow through the elbows,
The wrists,
And out the fingers.
You may notice a tingling sensation in the hands which further shows you're beginning to relax as the bodily functions are slowing down.
The breathing becomes a shape deeper.
With each more relaxing breath,
Feel the body rest more firmly against the surface that you are sitting or lying on.
As the white light flows down through the back,
All the muscles and tendons wrapped around the vertebrae unwind and the back settles into its natural position automatically.
The light flows through the waist,
The buttocks,
The thighs,
The knees,
The ankles,
The feet,
And out through the toes,
Pushing out all stress,
Concerns,
Worries in the form of tension or tightness which may have been locked up in the body and are useless to us now.
Feel the nerves dimming,
Like dimming the lights.
And with each beat of the heart,
Which you are naturally more in touch with as you become more relaxed in this way,
Allow yourself to go deeper into relaxation.
Feel all the muscles and tendons droop and hang on the bone structure,
Loose and limp,
Loose and limp.
And in this moment of complete relaxation,
Notice how quiet your mind is,
How quiet your heartbeat is,
How completely relaxed you are.
And if there's any message from your higher self,
Your angels,
Your guys,
Your friends,
Your inner knowing,
Just be still and allow that to come forth.
Thank you.
Just be in gratitude whether you are aware of a message or not.
Just be grateful for this time.
And if there's anything you want to ask the universe to bring to you,
Go ahead and do that now.
And then surrender.
Turn it over.
Let go.
It's like giving your order to the waiter.
Don't follow him to the kitchen.
Don't supervise the cooks.
Place your order and release.
And once again,
Bring that overwhelming feeling of gratitude into your heart.
Be grateful for this moment.
Be grateful for the gifts that you have received in your life.
Be grateful for the people,
The animals,
Nature.
Life is a gift and you are blessed.
And now begin to bring awareness back into your body.
Feel yourself rising back to consciousness.
You may move and stretch the body gently.
Or if you're going off to sleep,
Just turn this off now and have a very restful,
Nourishing sleep.
As you bring your attention back,
You will remember everything you've experienced and integrated over the next few days.
Feeling very satisfied with the changes that have taken place.
Feeling more in touch with the room around you.
The feel of the air on your skin.
The mind and body returning and awakening.
And when you are ready,
You can open your eyes.
Feeling wide awake,
Feeling refreshed,
Relaxed,
And really good.
