This guided meditation will help you relax your physical body,
As well as your mind,
And it will connect you with your spirit as you relax down into a deep and soulful sleep.

Restful sleep.
Begin by getting comfortable lying down.
Be sure that your physical body feels supported and as relaxed as possible as you get settled.
Ensure that your external environment supports you as your internal environment turns toward sleep.
Begin by taking a few soft,
Nourishing,
Conscious breaths at a pace that feels just right for you in this moment.
Follow your breath as it enters and as it leaves your body.
Notice the places in your body that move and are touched by your inhales and your exhales.
With each exhale,
Find yourself settling more and more deeply into your place on the earth,
Feeling held,
Feeling grounded,
Feeling cherished by the environment that holds you now.
Imagine that there's a soft,
Golden light shining right above your head,
Shining pure love,
Pure light,
Pure warmth upon you.
It's as if the heart of the universe is smiling upon you.
Allow that soft,
Golden,
Honey-like light to flow from the top of your head through your crown,
Softening,
Warming,
And relaxing every cell of your being.
Inhale that honey-like warmth through your scalp,
Through the right and left sides of your brain,
Down through your forehead,
Through your temples,
Your eyebrows,
Your eyes,
Down through your nose,
Cheeks,
Ears,
And earlobes,
Softening the inside of your mouth,
All of your teeth,
Your tongue,
Your lips,
Your chin,
Jaw,
Throat,
And your neck,
Allowing the golden,
Warm light to flow through both of your shoulders,
Down through the tops of your arms and all of the skin,
Muscles,
Bones of your arms,
Down through your wrists,
Through the hands,
And down,
Warming and softening all of your fingers.
Now allow that warm feeling to radiate throughout your chest area,
Flooding your heart space with softness,
Allowing this light to relax and soften all of the spaces of your heart,
Allowing your heart to be held and allowing your beautiful,
Beautiful heart to relax.
Allow this light to flow through your upper back,
Allow it to warm and soften both of your lungs,
Your stomach,
All of the organs in your torso,
Your lower back,
Sacrum,
Pelvis,
Hips,
Warming and softening the backs of your legs,
The thighs,
All sides of your knees,
Your shins,
Calves,
Ankles,
Heels,
As well as all the skin,
Bones,
Muscles,
And veins in your feet and your toes,
Feeling filled up with warmth,
Softness,
And relaxation throughout every cell of your physical body.
If there's something that you could release in this moment to allow you to relax and soften even more deeply,
Whether it's named or unnamed,
Release it now.
It could be a thought or a thought pattern,
A worry,
A physical imbalance,
Emotional imbalance,
Any place of holding or tension,
Allowing anything that's ready to be released to go now with each exhale through all of the touch points with the earth,
Dissolving,
Releasing gently through your intention and through your breath,
Softening,
Releasing,
Letting go,
Bringing your awareness to the softness,
Allowing the softness and the relaxation to expand gently and effortlessly with each breath.
Now we'll count down from 10 to 1,
Further deepening your relaxation with each number.

As you drift off into sleep,
You might want to imagine there's a beautiful light at the center of your being.
You might imagine it like the flame of a candle or a bright bulb or any other possibility.
Become aware of the color or colors of this light as it expands in all directions throughout your physical body.
Imagine that all of the cells of your body are flooded and warmed by the light of your own soul.
Allow yourself to bask in your own radiance and in the power and beauty of your own soul as you drift towards sleep.
Remembering your true essence.
Remembering that you are love.
That you are loved.
You are eternal.
You are infinite.
You are light.
You are perfect,
Just as you are.
You are love.
