Hello and welcome to this guided meditation on grounding and connecting.
Hopefully you're not operating any heavy machinery or a vehicle at this time or even the blender.
Just really take a break and get relaxed,
Get comfortable,
Make sure that your physical body feels comfortable,
Cozy,
Supported,
Whether lying down or seated.
And after you feel well supported,
Go ahead and take a couple of soft,
Deep breaths at a pace that feels good for you.
Then just start to become aware of your edges.
Whatever that means to you in this moment could be the edges of your physical body,
Your energetic body.
Just scanning down.
What does it feel like to be in your skin in this moment?
Just noticing any places of comfort or discomfort.
Then locate your touch points with the earth.
So the places that are there touching land,
Mattress,
Chair.
And from those places,
Send chords down.
You might envision them to be like vines or tree trunks or ropes,
Anchors.
Just gently,
Effortlessly sending those chords down,
Down through the surface of the earth.
Seeing that they're going through each layer of the earth.
And they can be tied effortlessly at the earth center.
Creating a really snug feeling,
Really anchored and grounded feeling for your physical body.
And with each exhale,
You can send anything that you'd like to exhale from your physical body,
Any places of tension,
Any thoughts,
Any worries about the past or anxieties about the future,
Just send them down those chords.
You might even just visualize that they have a color or a weight,
Even a sound.
Now I'd like you to imagine that the earth has a special kind of gift for you,
A gift of nourishment that you're going to invite into your physical body,
Your energetic body.
That gift might have a name,
Like a word,
Might have a vibration or a color,
Something really supportive,
Nourishing.
And with your next inhales,
You're going to breathe that energy,
Breathe that gift up through those chords.
So now mother earth's energy begins circulating through your own physical body.
And as you exhale down,
Again,
Just exhaling anything that you'd like to send down to the earth.
You're breathing up this bounty,
This nourishment,
The support and groundedness of the earth into your body,
Circulating effortlessly.
You might imagine that the light of your own spirit and the colors and vibrations of mother earth just mixing like ribbons inside of your being,
Ribbons of light.
Now imagine about an arm's length above your head is this beautiful golden pool of light.
This golden pool of light represents the heart of the universe.
And it's a symbol of the divine.
And with your intention,
You're going to breathe through the top of your head,
Up out into this beautiful golden pool of light.
Most as if you're reaching up to this light for nourishment and connection.
And with each exhale,
Bringing that golden light into your physical body,
Mixing with the energy of the earth.
And as you're inhaling up,
Inhaling into the heart of the universe.
And again,
Asking for any specific gifts that you'd like to have bestowed upon you in this moment,
Maybe a gift of grace,
A wish of ease,
Of peace,
Connection,
Wisdom,
Whatever feels most appropriate in this moment.
And you might envision it as a word or even a vibration or a color or colors.
And now just allow the universe and the heart of the universe to grant you this gift.
And with each breath,
Just filling you up with this light.
And now become very aware of your physical body again.
You're still connected to the earth,
Still connected to the divine.
And become aware of your edges and what it's like to be in your skin once again.
It feels different now.
Allowing yourself to feel really grounded and really connected.
