My name is Kim and welcome to today's meditation.
I'll be your guide for this breath meditation that focuses on relieving stress and anxiety and it can even help you fall asleep.
It is in the silence we find calm,
Our refuge,
Shelter from the storm,
Sustenance and the peace that passes understanding.
In this quiet space,
Pearls of wisdom fall and rise in each breath we take.
As we practice daily,
Sitting in the stillness and silence,
We experience deeper levels of awareness,
Quiet and serenity,
Allowing us to be more intuitive,
Mindful and better able to hear the deepest whispers of our hearts.
Let's take this time to listen to the deepest whispers of our hearts.
Let's get still.
As always,
Find a quiet spot where you won't be disturbed.
Sitting or lying down,
Gently close your eyes.
I invite you to put one hand on your heart space and the other on your tummy so you can really feel the breath as it moves in and out.
So breathing in,
Take a nice deep,
Full breath in,
Hold it a little bit more,
Full,
And release it.
Take another nice,
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
Hold it,
And release it slowly.
One more,
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in and hold it.
And slowly let it go with a sigh.
Become mindful of the natural rhythm of your breath.
Feel the soft,
Natural flow of your breath as it moves in and out like waves in the sea.
As you breathe in,
And just before you breathe out,
Notice the space between each breath and the space between the next breath.
Just notice it.
Keep breathing.
The stillness and silence holds profound wisdom.
Keep anchoring into the breath.
As you notice the space between each breath and the space between the next breath,
Just witness it.
Listen to the deep silence.
It has so much to say.
Not known,
Because not looked for,
But half heard.
Half heard in the stillness between two waves of the sea.
