Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky.
Conscious breathing is my anchor.
Tick not on.
As always,
Find a quiet spot where you won't be disturbed.
In a position,
Sitting or lying down.
Allow your eyes to gently close.
If you wish,
You can put one hand on your heart space and the other on your belly.
Or leave your hands at your sides or gently rest your hands in your lap.
Just make sure you are good and comfortable.
Take a nice,
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
Hold it and slowly release it.
Take another nice,
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in and let it go with a sigh.
Become mindful of the natural rhythm of your breath.
Feel the natural flow of your breath moving in and out.
Just follow the breath.
Effortlessly.
Gently.
There's no need to push or to concentrate.
The breath does everything.
Just witness it.
I smile to the present moment.
Keep breathing in.
Your mind is calming.
Your body is relaxing and settling down.
You feel the calm.
Your breath is slow and easy.
There's nowhere else to be except right here,
Right now,
In this present,
Calm,
Relaxed moment.
