I'm Kim Carmen Walsh and I'm delighted that you'll be joining me aboard the Magical Express. Journeying tonight to the well-known school for witches and wizards. There is absolutely nothing that you need to do. Just lie back and listen. Allowing yourself to experience a shift in sensations to a magical world. A place where you can let go of all your worries and concerns before drifting into a deep and restorative sleep. Should you need to wake during the night. . . . You will do so. Tend to whatever needs your attention. Return to bed and just by bringing your attention to the sensation of your body lying in your bed. . . . You will drift naturally and easily back to sleep. Lying only at a time that you set for yourself. Feeling bright, Positive and refreshed. So when you are ready. . . . Please make yourself comfortable in your bed. Take a deep breath in. . . . And as you slowly breathe out. . . . Close your eyes. . . . And begin to relax. In your mind's eye now. . . . You see. . . . Feel. . . . Experience yourself seated in a train compartment. . . . Aboard the Magical Express. Perhaps you are taking this special retreat by yourself. . . . Or maybe your nearest and dearest friends and family are with you in the train compartment. Either way. . . . You are happy and relaxed. . . . Looking forward to this little Christmas excursion. . . . Some time away from your everyday routine. . . . Some space to relax and unwind. You are feeling warm and cosy. . . . And putting your head back against the headrest. . . . You are aware of your body sinking more deeply down. . . . A wave of ease and relaxation flowing slowly through your body. . . . Looking forward to the festive holidays. . . . And feeling a hint of excitement for your trip tonight. . . . You can hear the soporific sound of the train on the tracks. . . . And you feel the gentle sway of the train as it journeys through the night. . . . The compartment lights are turned down low. . . . And looking out of your train window. . . . You see that the snow is falling quite heavily outside. . . . A flurry of snowflakes gliding across the window pane. . . . You have just eaten the most scrumptious festive meal. . . . And on the table in front of where you sit. . . . You smell the delicious scent of your favourite hot drink. . . . How good it feels to leave the everyday behind. . . . To be transported into a world of magic and wonder. . . . Feeling relaxed. . . . And content. . . . Sleepy and happy. . . . You let go to deeper and deeper levels of relaxation. . . . There's nothing that you need to do. . . . Just lie back. . . . And listen. . . . Aware of how serene and peaceful you are feeling. . . . Tuning in to the sound of my voice. . . . To the sound of the clickety clack of the train. . . . Allowing each and every sound to help you feel more and more relaxed. . . . Knowing that you are safe. . . . Protected. . . . Loved. . . . The snow falling outside has subsided. . . . And looking outside the window. . . . You see a landscape that's blanketed in a soft white duvet of snow. . . . And all the while you remain snug and warm. . . . The soft swaying movement of the train makes you feel as if you are being gently rocked to sleep. . . . The soothing movement as it sways softly from side to side. . . . I will begin to count down slowly. . . . From 10 to 1. . . . And with each descending number you feel yourself drift deeper down into hypnosis. . . . So relaxed. . . . Safe. . . . Happy. . . . You smell your favourite Christmasy scent. . . . Sensing the festive magic. . . . And joy. . . . Should you choose to. . . . You can close the curtains surrounding your bed. . . . With a slow wave of your wand. . . . Outside. . . . The snow has begun to fall more heavily. . . . And you can hear the soft splash of large snowflakes against the window. . . . With the occasional flurry of wind. . . . Also in the distance. . . . You can hear the sound of thundersnow. . . . A rare. . . . But very real phenomenon. . . . All the while though. . . . You are safe. . . . And comfortable. . . . At the bottom of your bed. . . . You see a small beautifully wrapped parcel. . . . Which has your name written on a label in elaborate cursive script. . . . A special present that is unique to you. . . . On the back of your name label. . . . It reads. . . . Only to be opened in your dreams. . . . It is a present that will be revealed to you as you dream tonight. . . . It is something that is absolutely exclusive to you. . . . Perhaps an item. . . . A vision. . . . An insight. . . . Or an experience that is wished for by you. . . . Something that brings you a beautiful sense of well-being. . . . Loving-kindness. . . . And joy. . . .
