Take 20 minutes, and let me guide you through this visual and deep heart chakra healing meditation. Practice this at any time you're feeling sad, going through heartbreak, a breakup, grieving, or feeling like you're holding onto any resentment in your heart.

Welcome to this 20-minute heart chakra healing meditation.

Find a quiet and comfortable space where you can relax without any distractions.

Sit or lie down in a position that feels most comfortable to you and close your eyes.

Let's start by taking a few slow and deep breaths,

Inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling fully from your mouth.

Inhale deeply through the nose.

Open your mouth and slowly exhale.

One more time,

Inhaling through your nose,

Filling your lungs with air.

Open the mouth and slowly release all of the breath from your lungs.

Closing your breath,

Closing your mouth and breathing in through your nose,

Breathing out through your nose.

Continue breathing this way,

Equalizing your inhale with your exhale and feel yourself becoming more relaxed and more present in this moment.

Notice your chest rising as you inhale.

Notice your lungs deflating as you exhale.

Allow your body to take over your breathing as you bring your attention and awareness to the body.

Begin at the top of your head as we scan the body down towards the feet.

At the top of your head,

Slowly releasing any tension in your forehead,

Your eyes,

The space between your eyebrows,

Relaxing your ears,

Your jaw,

Any tension in the neck and shoulders.

Releasing any tension in your hips,

Arms and legs,

Hands and feet.

As you scan through the body,

Noticing any areas of tension or discomfort.

As you notice each of these areas,

Allow that tension or discomfort to melt away with each exhale.

Each breath leaves you meek and each breath leaves you feeling more relaxed and at ease.

As you make your way down to the base of your body,

Feel your tailbone pressing down into the ground beneath you.

If you're sitting and if you're lying down,

Feel your back,

Feel the whole backside of your body melting into the ground or melting onto the surface where you are lying down.

Imagine there are roots growing out and extending from the base of your spine and reaching down deep into the earth,

Anchoring your body to the ground.

Feel the stability and the support of the earth beneath you.

With your mind relaxed,

Your breath flowing and your body relaxed,

Let's begin to activate the heart chakra,

Bringing your focus and your hands to the center of your chest where your heart is.

As you continue feeling the breath moving in and out of your body,

Visualize a bright green light.

This bright green light is coming from your heart and is radiating with warmth and love.

With each inhale and each exhale,

Feel this green light growing brighter and expanding,

Filling your heart and your chest with love and compassion.

And if you like,

You can repeat after me with your hands over your heart.

I am worthy of love.

I forgive myself and I forgive others.

My heart is open to give and open to receive love.

I am a beacon of compassion and kindness.

We have now opened and activated the heart chakra.

We'll begin to cleanse this space.

Continue to breathe deeply and identify where you may visualize,

You may see or feel any lingering pain,

Resentment or sadness.

Give those feelings permission to be there.

Notice them,

Observe and accept and allow them to be released from your heart chakra.

You see a dim light starting to brighten as each piece of pain,

Resentment or sadness begins to leave your heart and your body,

Dissolving into the universe,

Making room for love and healing.

Continue breathing,

Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the nose.

Visualize someone you love very deeply and in your heart and in your body,

Feel the warmth and affection you have for them.

Send this person wishes of love,

Happiness and peace.

Hold on to this sensation of love and breathe into it.

Allow it to expand,

Filling your entire body with warmth and light.

Feel it moving into your arms,

Legs,

Fingers,

Toes.

Allow it to expand further,

Creating a wide circle of warmth that encompasses your body and beyond.

Allow it to expand even further,

Using the breath to expand the space and fill the entire room with this feeling of love and warmth.

Allow it to expand even further beyond your room,

Filling your entire house,

Your street,

Your city,

Your state.

As you continue breathing,

Expand it out into the continent where you live or where you are right now,

Expanding further,

Encompassing the entire planet earth.

Breathing,

Inhale through the nose,

Exhale through the nose.

As you inhale,

Expanding out into space,

Encompassing everything that exists in the universe and realizing that you are part of everything.

Feel yourself as part of the whole and allow that sensation,

That feeling of love light and warmth to embrace it all.

As you allow yourself to connect with and radiate this energy of love,

Slowly bring yourself back to the earth,

Back to the continent where you are,

Back to the state,

The city,

Back to the street,

Back to your house,

Slowly coming back to the room where you are sitting or lying down,

Coming back to your body and coming back to your heart and realizing that everything in the universe is found within you,

Knowing that you are capable of connecting to this feeling of love,

Light and warmth.

You are capable of giving and receiving love unconditionally and you are capable of living from this space.

Continue to follow the flow of your breath,

Moving in and out of your body and taking your time to come back without rushing,

Enjoying any last lingering sensations of love,

Warmth,

Kindness,

Compassion.

Feel a deep sense of gratitude as we come to the end of this heart chakra healing meditation.

Know that you can return to this practice anytime you need to open your heart,

Heal and find balance.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Open your mouth and slowly sigh,

Exhale to release.

Inhale through the nose,

Open your mouth and exhale,

Releasing the breath from the body,

Releasing the practice,

Slowly making your way back to the present moment,

Small movements in your toes,

In your fingers and blink open your eyes,

Coming back into the space.

Take your time as you readjust yourself,

Moving slowly.

When you feel ready,

Maybe going for a glass of water,

Some fresh fruit,

Healthy nourishing foods or take a walk in nature.
