Welcome to this root chakra journal practice.
You will need a pen and a journal and to be sitting somewhere quiet and comfy where you won't be disturbed.
Go ahead and start making yourself comfortable as we dive into this practice.
The element of the Muladhara chakra is earth.
Start to feel yourself rooting down into the earth through the sit bones.
Balance in the root chakra brings a solid foundation to life as well as a sense of safety.
If you feel safe to you might start to close down the eyes otherwise soften the eyelids and I'd like you to visualize yourself stepping into nature.
Stepping into your favorite spot in nature.
Notice what's around you.
What do you see?
What do you smell?
What can you hear?
How do you feel here?
Notice the feeling of your feet on the earth.
You notice a spot that you'd like to go and sit down at.
You start to walk towards this spot and you sit.
Notice what's beneath you.
Feel the unshakable support of the earth underneath your sit bones,
Underneath all the parts of your body that are in contact with the earth.
As you continue to take in the sights,
The smells,
The sounds around you.
Visualize your favorite spot.
Allow yourself to root down in your favorite spot.
Take it all in and from here we'll move into our journal practice.
You'll be given a few moments between each question to write.
So reach for your pen and your journal and begin to describe your favorite place in nature.
How does it make you feel and what do you love about it?
