Welcome to this morning gratitude practice.
This practice will guide you to cultivate a sense of gratitude so that you can start your day aligned to your higher self,
Feeling more abundant,
More fulfilled and more free as you enter your day.
The invitation is to come to sit.
Make yourself really comfortable.
Whether that's on the earth,
On a chair or with the back supported,
Perhaps leaning up against the wall.
Once you've arrived in your seated position,
Bring the awareness to the breath.
Take a breath in through the nose,
Release it out through the mouth and soften the body as you release the breath out through the mouth.
Take the same again,
An in breath through the nose,
And an exhale out through the mouth,
Softening the body as you release the breath out through the mouth.
One final time.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale out of the mouth and soften the body.
Let the awareness now rest at the inhale and the exhale that's softly passing through the nose.
Notice if the mind is trying to jump ahead to plan your day.
Can you with kindness gently guide your mind back to the present moment,
Placing awareness at the breath.
Allow any sense of holding of tension to release with each exhale.
Bring your awareness to your energetic heart center.
You may even place one hand over the heart to truly connect with that space.
Tune into the gentle rise and fall of this space as you breathe.
And as you bring to mind things in your life that you are grateful for.
Perhaps it's your home.
Perhaps the love of your friends and your family.
Perhaps the job that you have or the money in your bank account or the food in your fridge.
Whatever it may be,
As you say the words I am grateful for.
Feel the effect that has on your body.
Breathe into those feelings of gratitude that you are cultivating as you remind yourself of your blessings.
Perhaps tuning into a feeling of fondness whilst you cultivate gratitude.
A feeling of warmth,
Of kindness,
Of openness and receptivity.
And as if the mind begins to wonder.
Can you draw your mind back to the heart space?
And recite your gratitude affirmations.
I am grateful for.
I am grateful for.
As you align yourself to these feelings of gratitude.
You will naturally start to look for the goodness and blessings in your life.
You will begin to align yourself to a higher vibration.
Bathe in this feeling of gratitude.
Bathe in the feeling of thankfulness.
And perhaps allow a gentle warm smile to appear across the lips.
Perhaps notice the physiological change that takes place in the body when you smile.
And tune into the feelings of gratitude that you are cultivating.
Allow this sense of gratitude to begin to spread all around your body.
To every single cell of your being.
So that as you move through your day today,
You are vibrating at this frequency.
Take a moment here to thank yourself for this practice.
Offer yourself gratitude.
Knowing that you have raised your vibration this morning.
You have approached your day with a sense of openness.
And now you will be more receptive to the abundant offerings of the universe from doing so.
