Using our disciplined imagination,

Let us bring our awareness all the way down to our feet,

Or to the bottoms of our feet to feel that connection you have with our beautiful Mama Earth.

Feeling that energy descending down and connecting into Pachamama,

Gaia,

Mama Earth,

And all of her abundant,

Nurturing,

Supportive,

Holding,

Loving energy.

Feeling her pushing up against you,

Holding you up as you reach down with your imagination and connect with her.

Feeling her love,

Her unconditional love.

And as you continue to deeply root yourself down with every breath,

Let the rest of your spine rise up vertebrae by vertebrae,

Heart lifted,

Shoulders dropped,

Head level to the ground,

Chin slightly tucked,

Eyes closed,

Focused on the third eye point,

That space gently or that space between the eyebrows.

And yes,

Gently focus there so you're not straining yourself.

Bringing your imagination all the way to the tip top of your head.

Imagining that you have this huge skylight at the top of your head.

And looking through that skylight,

You see the stars in the night sky.

And feel your energy raising up,

Rising up,

Reaching up into the heavens.

And connecting with that greater perspective and heightened awareness,

That higher mind.

And with every breath,

Strengthening that connection,

Both above and below.

Feeling stretched between worlds and allowing the breath to fill the space in between.

As you continue to be in this beautiful space,

In this beautiful elevated posture,

I want you to know that there is a realm of deep stillness that's always present all the time,

No matter what else is going on.

And I want you with your imagination to see if you can lean into this realm of stillness.

It's like we're in the ocean and on the surface,

There's lots of movement.

There's waves,

There's currents,

There's wind.

A metaphor for the movements within us,

The mind,

The thoughts,

The emotions,

The sounds around us.

The qualities of our space and the objects in our awareness.

And as we sink deeper into the ocean from the surface,

We find that even though the surface is still waving and current and winding and moving and undulating,

That we can sink deeper and deeper.

And as we do,

We find more and more stillness,

More and more peace,

More and more calm.

Just like in our body,

We can lean more deeply into that realm of stillness deep beneath the surface while we allow the movements of the mind,

The heart,

The sounds,

And all of the objects in our awareness to just be exactly as they are moving,

Exactly as they are.

What's it like right now to sink even deeper?

Into stillness?

Or what might it feel like if we were able to sink even deeper into this realm of stillness?

What's it like right now to sink even deeper into this realm of stillness?

What's it like to allow everything to sink?

What's it like for everything to be exactly as it already is as we continue to lean and sink even deeper into stillness?

What's it like to sink even deeper into this realm of stillness?

Let's take a nice deep breath in.

And out.

We're going to gently bring ourselves back by wiggling our fingers,

Wiggling our toes,

Blinking our eyes,

Stretching our fingers,

Our arms,

Maybe yawning.
