Take a breath,
And just allow your body to settle in,
And let us begin this practice by finding a comfortable place where you can either sit or lie down,
Knowing that this practice will serve you and your body.
Allow the eyes to roll up,
Looking towards the ceiling or above your head,
Watching,
Holding the eye gaze steady up and above,
Looking up and above the hairline.
And take a large inhale here,
Inhaling through the nose,
Exhaling out the mouth,
And allowing the eyes to close down,
Softly,
Gently,
Allowing your body to settle into the present moment,
The only moment that we have.
And take a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs to capacity,
All the way,
And just allowing that breath to be held at the very top of that inhale,
And then exhaling slowly,
Releasing any tension,
Releasing and letting go of anything that doesn't serve your body,
Releasing and breathing,
And breathing deeply once again,
Filling the lungs,
And as you exhale,
Feel your body grounding into the earth,
And the surface beneath you,
Strong and stable,
Just like you,
Strong and stable.
And with each breath,
Honor the strength of your body,
The body that has taken you on an incredible journey,
Breathing,
Effortlessly breathing,
And the body holds this wisdom,
And this inner strength,
It carries you every day,
Holding you,
Cradling you gently,
Guiding you into this deep awareness.
Allow yourself to settle in,
Breathe,
And now allow that awareness to move to the top of your head,
Up to the hairline,
And as if you're drawing a line with a beautiful pen,
Drawing down around the body,
Tracing the body,
Bringing focus to every area,
Recognizing each area,
And the transformation,
Slowly allowing the body to be traced by the wisdom,
Tracing down around the face,
Under the chin,
And down the front side of the neck,
And that line gently moves to the right clavicle,
And the left,
And to the tip of the right shoulder,
And the tip of the left shoulder,
Sending warmth and love into the shoulders,
Allowing that awareness to light up the shoulders,
Breathing,
And as you breathe in,
Imagine a cooling,
Calm,
Very calm energy entering the body,
Cooling the body,
Bringing the temperature down,
Recognizing and expelling the heat,
And envision any discomfort or any heat being released from the body,
This calming,
Cool energy,
Releasing,
Bringing a sense of peace and quietude,
Like a serene wave washing over you,
And that cool energy moves down into the arms,
And lands gently into the palms of the hands,
As if there are two pools of water,
Sinking,
Drifting,
Cooling the body,
And just allowing this visualization to grow stronger with every breath,
This soothing sensation,
This blue,
Cool color,
This tranquility,
Softening the body,
Flowing through you,
Bringing balance and harmony to every single cell,
Every tissue,
Every single part of your being,
Being washed and cooled by this soothing presence,
Moving through the mid-body,
And down into the hips,
Into the sacrum,
And that cool blue moves down into the lower body,
Softening,
Releasing,
All the way down into the feet and the soles of the feet,
The body rests,
The body releases,
Breathing,
And now allowing the heart to speak to you,
In this pool of beautiful sensation,
This cool blue water,
Affirming the heartfelt affirmation,
The sincerity of your body,
Repeating silently in your mind's eye,
I am enveloped in strength and serenity,

I move through life's transitions with ease and grace,

I honor the intelligence of my body,

Breathing in and breathing out,
Allowing these affirmations to flow through the body,

And in these final moments of this practice,
Turn inward,
The space of gratitude,
Giving thanks to the body,
The power of your body,
Filling with gratitude in the body,
The wise body,
The kind body,
The powerful body,
Your body,
Breathing here,
And slowly allowing the weight of the body to come back into the present moment,
And begin bringing the awareness and the attention back into the room,
And feeling the toes of the left foot begin to wiggle,
And perhaps even the fingers on the right hand begin to move,
And keeping the eyes closed,
Staying with yourself,
Placing your hand on your heart and one hand on your belly,
And whispering to yourself with great acknowledgement and strength,
I love you,
My beautiful body,
I love you,
And take a large inhale here in through the nose,
And exhaling out of the mouth,
And may this practice be a sanctuary for you and your future self,
A space to celebrate the beautiful evolution of your body.
