This is a great meditation that you can use to kick off your day and set your day up for success and positivity.
So,
Let's get started.
If you are able to,
Find a comfortable seated position and softly close your eyes.
Take a moment here to get grounded and to take a few deep breaths.
As you take your breaths,
Let your breath guide you throughout this meditation.
If your mind starts to wander,
Come back to the breath.
Thoughts that come to you throughout this practice,
Greet them with love and kindness and then let them go.
Remember to leave all judgement at the door and just be here and be present.
Today is a new day.
Today is a day where anything is possible.
You can accomplish anything that you want.
You can take on this day.
Today is full of magic.
Today is full of hope.
Today you will spread kindness to others.
Today you will show yourself some love.
It's a good day to have a good day.
As you go about your day,
Take moments to look around.
Take a moment to notice something you have never noticed before.
If you are out in nature,
Notice the trees around you and the birds chirping.
Take a moment to feel the cool breeze or the sunshine beaming down on your beautiful face.
If you are working from home,
Notice things around your home that bring you joy.
Maybe you have a house plant or flowers that make you smile.
The laughter of your children.
The fuzziness of your dog or cat.
Whatever it may be,
Just take a moment to enjoy something different today.
Every day when we wake up,
We have the choice to make that day great.
Sometimes something may happen in our day that challenges us.
Challenges our inner peace.
But that is just the universe throwing us a test.
So how are you going to react to something challenging today?
It's up to you to decide.
Repeat these affirmations either out loud or in your mind.
Today is a brand new day that I am ready to conquer.
I am capable of doing anything I want.
I see the beauty in this new day.
May I approach challenging situations with an open mind.
I am living to my full potential.
As I take on new challenges,
I feel calm,
Confident and powerful.
Today I will laugh and have fun.
I am valuable and will make powerful contributions to the world today.
I believe in myself.
Today is a great day.
