Hello,
Hello,
Beautiful soul and welcome.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down,
Whatever allows your body to feel most supported.
And when you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
And take a slow breath in through your nose and exhale softly through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale deeply and exhale,
Letting the body soften.
There's nowhere you need to go,
Nothing you need to fix.
This time is simply for you.
Begin to notice the places where your body makes contact with the surface,
The ground,
The earth beneath you.
The weight of your body being held,
Supported.
Feel the support beneath you,
Steady,
Reliable,
Sturdy.
Allow your shoulders to soften,
Your jaw to relax,
Your belly to gently rise and fall with each breath.
And with every exhale,
Imagine you're releasing just a little bit the expectations,
The noise,
The doing.
There is nothing you need to do.
There is nothing you need to accomplish here aside from being fully present in this moment exactly as you are.
And now bring your awareness down to your feet.
Imagine roots gently extending from the soles of your feet,
Moving down,
Down,
Down into the earth below you.
These roots,
They anchor you.
They ground you.
They remind your nervous system that you are safe.
And with each inhale,
Draw up a sense of steadiness.
And with each exhale,
Release tension into the earth.
Let the earth hold what you no longer need to carry.
And begin to slowly scan your body from the bottom up.
Notice your legs,
Your hips,
Your lower back.
If you sense any tightness,
Simply breathe into it.
No fixing,
No forcing.
Move your awareness up to your chest,
Your heart space,
Your Anahata Chakra.
And feel the gentle rise and fall with each breath.
Imagine your breath moving in and out of your heart space,
Creating a sense of openness and ease.
And then bring your awareness to your shoulders,
Your neck,
Your face.
Allow your forehead to smooth,
Your tongue to rest softly,
Gently in your mouth.
Your whole body is allowed to soften here.
And now imagine a place where you feel completely at ease.
It could be real or imagined,
A place in nature,
A memory or simply a feeling.
Notice the colors around you,
The temperature of the air,
Any sounds or sensations.
This is your inner sanctuary,
A place you can return to anytime.
And take a moment to simply be here.
Feel the safety of this space,
The quiet knowing that in this moment,
You are supported.
And as you rest here,
Silently repeat to yourself,
I am safe in my body.
I am allowed to slow down.
I trust myself.
Let these words gently land without forcing,
Believe,
Just allowing.
Begin to bring awareness back to your breath.
Notice the subtle movement of your body.
And when you're ready,
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when it feels right,
Slowly begin to open your eyes.
Carry this sense of calm with you into the rest of your day.
You can return to this feeling anytime with a single breath.
Namaste.
