Welcome!

This is your time,

Just for you,

To breathe,

To arrive,

To feel steady and spacious before the day begins.

Let's start by finding a comfortable seat or lying down wherever your body feels most at ease.

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze,

And allow your hands to rest gently.

Maybe your palms are facing up for receptivity or down for grounding.

Feel the quiet of the morning,

The hush before movement.

This is where clarity begins.

Take a deep breath in,

Filling your body with fresh,

Clear energy.

Pause for just a moment,

And slowly exhale,

Letting go,

Releasing all the heaviness from worry.

Again,

Breathe in deeply.

Feel your chest rise and your belly expand.

Hold gently and exhale fully,

Softening your shoulders,

Unclenching your jaw,

Letting your body know it's okay to be here now.

Once more,

Inhale,

Open,

Bright,

Alive.

Exhale,

Grounded,

Calm,

Steady.

Now allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.

There's no need to control it.

Just notice it.

Steady,

Reliable,

Always here.

Let's bring gentle awareness to your body,

From the crown of your head down to the tips of your toes.

Start by noticing the sensation at the top of your head.

A soft tingle,

Maybe warmth,

Or simply stillness.

Feel your forehead smooth,

Your eyes resting heavily in their sockets,

Cheeks relaxed,

Jaw soft.

Bring attention to your neck and shoulders.

Gently roll your shoulders up,

Then back,

And let them drop.

Let tension melt.

Now your arms.

Feel your elbows,

Wrists,

Fingers.

Wiggle them gently,

Waking them up.

Notice your chest rising with your breath.

Your heartbeat,

Steady,

Sure.

Now bring attention to your belly.

Soft,

Alive,

Breathing.

Let your breath land here for a few rounds,

As if filling your whole being with ease.

And now I invite you to affirm to yourself,

I step into today with lightness and ease.

Feel your hips surrounded by the ground,

Your legs long and strong,

Ankles,

Feet,

Toes rooted and ready.

Now imagine your morning unfolding with calm clarity,

Stretching,

Breathing,

Walking with intention,

Smiling,

Savoring that first sip of tea or coffee.

Visualize yourself present,

Relaxed,

Rooted in each small action.

Feeling grounded in your body,

But open to the flow of life.

Let this next affirmation anchor you,

Repeating it silently or in a whisper.

I am present and grounded in all that I do.

Imagine sunlight on your skin,

The quiet hum of life just beginning.

You are part of this rhythm.

You are ready to meet this day.

Take a breath in and out.

Whisper softly or say silently,

Today I choose joy.

I welcome it in the smallest of moments.

Let these words settle.

Feel the truth of them,

The invitation they hold.

Let yourself smile.

There's magic in that,

Magic in simply beginning with calm and kindness.

As you're ready,

Gently float your eyes open.

Take in your space,

The light,

The shadows,

The shapes around you.

Notice how your body feels right now.

Maybe you choose to stretch your arms overhead,

Roll out your wrists,

Or sigh a soft,

Satisfied breath.

Wiggle your toes,

Rub your palms together,

And place them lightly over your eyes.

Let warmth and stillness land here once more.

You've taken this time to begin from stillness,

From presence,

From peace.

So here's a gentle question to carry with you today.

What does it feel like to move through life without rushing?

Let the answer unfold in its own time.

You might choose to journal this question,

Or return to it later.

Sometimes the answer we need are waiting quietly just beneath the surface.

May your day be spacious and steady.

You are ready.
