If you woke up carrying tension,

Stories or stress that aren't yours to hold,

This practice is your permission to set them down.

This meditation will help you reconnect to the quiet steadiness that's always been within you,

So you can meet your day from a place of ease,

Not effort.

I invite you to listen to your body to find the most comfortable position that is right for you,

Right here,

Right now.

Let your hands rest where they feel most natural,

On your belly,

Your heart,

Or your knees.

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze,

And let your breath deepen.

Take a long,

Slow inhale through your nose,

And a soft sigh out the mouth.

Again,

Breathe in ease,

And exhale unease.

Inhale,

Feel the belly and the lungs.

Exhale,

Soften your shoulders,

Your jaw,

Your hands.

One more breath in,

And let go.

Now let your breath return to its natural rhythm,

No effort,

Just flow.

Notice the gentle rise and fall.

Your breath is your anchor.

It's always here,

Quiet,

Steady,

And kind.

Affirm to yourself,

I return to stillness with each breath I take.

Begin to scan your body from the crown of your head down to the tips of your toes.

Notice any places that feel tight,

Tense,

Or heavy.

There's no need to change anything just yet,

Just observe.

Now imagine a soft light pouring over your forehead,

Your eyes,

Your cheeks.

Let the light gently melt away tension.

Bring your awareness to your shoulders,

Feel them soften,

If even just a bit.

Drop into your chest,

Place a hand on your heart if that feels right.

Notice the beat,

The rhythm,

This quiet truth that you are alive.

Now your belly,

Place a hand here if you'd like,

And feel it rise and fall as if the breath is gently rocking you from within.

Move down into your hips,

Your legs,

Your feet.

Notice any sensation,

Temperature,

Pressure,

Tingling.

You are here.

Whisper softly or silently repeat,

My body is grounded,

My presence is enough.

Now begin to imagine yourself rising to meet your day.

Visualize your morning unfolding with calm clarity.

Maybe you see yourself sipping tea or coffee,

Or standing in the sunlight shining through your window.

Feel the steadiness in your breath as you move through your routine.

Not rushed,

Not burdened,

But spacious.

See yourself brushing your teeth,

Stretching,

Moving with intention.

Within each of these ordinary moments is a quiet magic.

Let yourself feel into that vision,

Not as something to chase,

But something already within you,

And affirm,

I begin with steadiness,

Not urgency.

As you're ready,

Gently float your eyes open.

Let the light return.

Begin to move your fingers and your toes,

Maybe stretch your arms or roll your shoulders.

Bring attention to the space around you.

Notice the play of shadow and light.

The textures,

The colors.

Any sounds that gently reach you.

Take in a full,

Deep breath,

And exhale slowly.

Pause for just a moment.

Notice how you feel right now.

Notice what shifted,

Even slightly.

And ask yourself gently,

What can I release today to move through the world with more softness?

Let that question echo.

Hold it as a quiet invitation not to fix or to strive,

But to feel.

If you'd like to explore that question more deeply,

Take a few moments to journal or free write before you begin your day.

Thank you for starting your day with me.
