This is a gentle chanting meditation. We have 6 chakra energies in the body. When we get out of balance, our mental health is impacted. Here we focus on syllables, which are linked to energy chakras to rebalance ourselves, we will be chanting each syllable for one minute. You don't have to believe in energy work to benefit from this. Main thing - chanting activates vagus nerve, hence promotes feeling of calm and relaxation. Enjoy.

Hi there,

This meditation is going to be based on chanting syllables.

We have six energy chakras in the body and sometimes we can get out of balance.

So through this syllable chanting we can bring us back into balance and as you might know chanting actually stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system and makes us calm,

Balanced and restored.

Each of the syllables is connected to different energy centers Muladhara,

Svadhisthana,

Manipura,

Anahata,

Vishuddha,

Ajna and Sahasrara.

So we gonna stimulate those chakras.

The syllables are LAM,

L-A-M,

VAM,

V-A-M,

RAM,

R-A-M,

YAM,

Y-A-M,

HAM,

H-A-M and OM.

So we're gonna do each of these syllables and chant in for one minute.

You do not have to close your eyes for this one.

You may wish to close it if you want or you can just gaze down but you're gonna repeat with me each syllable,

Sounding it or chanting it with me for one minute each of those syllables.

So if you're ready and in a quiet place let's start.

The first syllable LAM.

Gee, this was excellent. I feel such a difference by doing this chanting session. I chanted slower than you which was nice as we had different paces but always the same sound, it was connecting and felt wonderful. I’ll save this so I can come back to it. Thank you 🙏🏼
