Sit down and make yourself comfortable.
Wiggle your arms and your legs,
Gently shaking away the sillies.
Imagine any stiffness in your body melting away,
Making your limbs loose like spaghetti.
Your body becoming soft and relaxed.
Move your attention to your feet and wiggle your toes around.
Say quietly inside your head,
My feet and toes are loose like spaghetti.
Gently move your legs around and repeat silently to yourself,
My legs are loose like spaghetti.
Move your hips from side to side and then in your inside voice say,
My hips are loose like spaghetti.
Wiggle your tummy and relax it and repeat after me in your inside voice,
My tummy is loose like spaghetti.
Now move your attention to your chest and take a deep breath and release,
Repeating after me,
My chest is loose like spaghetti.
Now lift your shoulders up to your ears and then release them down saying after me,
My shoulders are loose like spaghetti.
And gently shake out your arms and your hands saying to yourself in that inside voice,
My arms and hands are loose like spaghetti.
And silently repeat to yourself,
My whole body is loose like spaghetti.
And then saying aloud,
My whole body is loose like spaghetti.
Sitting here enjoying these feelings of peace and quiet.
