Welcome to this morning meditation.
Let's take five minutes to start your day amazingly.
Find a comfortable seat with your spine long,
Your sitting bones grounded,
And the crown of your head reaching for the sky.
As you inhale,
Roll your shoulders up,
Back,
And down,
And find a mudra for your hands to connect.
Maybe placing the palms down on your legs or up,
Or even palms above each other with the thumbs connecting.
And breathe deeply,
Softly,
Inflating your throat,
Chest,
And belly,
And breathing out even more gently,
Slowly.
With your next inhalation,
Notice your ribcage expanding in all direction,
Front,
Side,
And back,
And release the tension as you breathe out,
Creating more space every time you breathe in,
And slowing down even more so as you breathe out.
We're gonna breathe with a count of five,
Pacing ourselves as we breathe in and out.
Starting with the exhalation,
We're just gonna empty our lungs fully,
Deeply,
And breathing in,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
And out,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
In,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Out,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
In,
And out,
In,
And out,
And keep doing that five seconds count by fully inflating your lungs,
And as you breathe out,
Fully deflating the belly,
And the chest,
And the throat.
And I invite you,
As you do this cycle of breath,
Think about the energy you want to carry for the rest of your day.
What comes to your mind,
Or what do you need?
And breathe in this intention,
And breathe out anything that can be in the way to feel like you want.
Breathe in positive thoughts,
And breathe out any fear,
Tightness,
Heaviness,
With every inhalation,
Filling up your whole body and soul with that intention of yours.
And let's do a few more cycles with a five seconds count,
Where you feel grounded,
Where you feel ready for the day.
Have a wonderful day.
