Welcome to this short meditation.
If you're sitting on a chair,
Uncross your legs and place both feet on the ground.
Roll your shoulders up,
Back and down.
Finding more space in the chest.
Sitting bones are grounded.
Crown of the head is up to the stars.
Feel your spine long,
Your chest broad,
Your belly supple.
Notice your breath,
The air going through your nostrils,
Down through your throat,
Chest,
Belly.
And follow it out,
All the way out.
Maybe through an open mouth.
With every full breath,
Finding more softness in your body.
But yet,
Finding spaciousness in your ribcage.
Inflating your lungs as much as you can.
Just like the waves coming and going.
Your breath comes and goes.
And with every inhalation,
Sipping in a little bit more air.
Finding maybe more space in the chest or the belly.
And when you exhale,
Finding more softness.
And emptying fully,
Deeply,
All the air in your body.
While doing that,
If you want to do the Ujjayi breath,
The ocean breath,
Make a slight constriction in the back of your throat,
Creating a very soft ocean sound.
Breathing in and out through your nose.
That sound doesn't have to be loud.
It may be maybe almost just heard by you.
Like a very calm ocean.
Creating more heat in your body.
More awareness.
You should still feel softness in your throat.
And in your shoulders.
Do that for three more cycles.
And slowly come back to a natural breath.
One more time.
Lift your shoulders up,
Back and down.
Open up the chest.
And with your next exhalation,
Open your mouth,
Sigh it out.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
