Welcome to Insight Timer.
My name is Rachel Edge of Loving Wing's Wellness and today's meditation is designed for manifesting an intention or creating space and letting go of something that no longer serves.
So find a comfortable seat,
A quiet space,
Free of distraction and let's get started.
Begin by taking three deep breaths,
Just letting yourself arrive in the space in which you're sitting.
As your breath deepens,
Feel yourself sinking heavier,
Feel the weight of your hips,
Your legs connecting to the earth.
With each inhale,
Let your heart open to receive.
And maybe even think of this breath as a yin breath.
So yin is our femininity and not necessarily male or female,
Gender related.
It is that which is supple,
Gentle and soft.
So let your breath be fluid like water,
Cycles in,
Heart opens,
Cycles out,
Shoulders soften.
And maybe with each exhale you begin to release,
Letting go.
And if manifesting or setting an affirmation,
What is it that you are affirming for yourself?
What is it that you are creating space in just for you?
So with each breath,
Maybe inhaling I am and then exhaling whatever it is that you're letting go or manifesting.
This can be as simple as I am well.
I am at peace.
I am grateful.
So take three more of these rounded breaths,
Inhaling I am,
Exhaling whatever it is that you are letting go or affirming.
Notice the balance we experience when letting go of darkness.
Notice the weight removed.
When we breathe with intention,
Light's presence lifts us physically.
When invited in,
When room is made for it to seep inside us,
Breath by beautiful breath,
We begin to feel ourselves soften.
We feel less anxious,
Less restless and able to expand.
Expand through heart,
Breath by breath.
Let your inhale travel beyond your throat,
The solar plexus,
All the way down to your rooted self,
Your grounding point.
As our breath travels beyond our sacrum,
It's met with water holding,
Washing,
Releasing.
What do you no longer need?
What are you letting go?
What are you creating space for and inviting in?
What is being manifested?
As this breath of light continues to travel down your body,
Let it touch your soul,
Holding you gently.
At times of full moon,
We release and at times of new moon,
We affirm and manifest.
In this cycle,
Just like our breath comes every single month,
Our creator did not place this beautiful satellite by mistake,
Nor did he give us breath to be taken for granted.
Our life depends on it.
So just like the waters of the ocean ebbing and flowing with every moon cycle,
So should our breath.
Feel the weightlessness as you release,
The light's warmth as you manifest.
Breath in.
Breath out.
Breath in.
Breath out.
Breath in.
Breath out.
Breath in.
Can you let it go?
Let light's presence illuminate from your heart.
Let light drive out the darkness.
The light in me honors the light in you.
Draw another deep breath in.
Let it go.
Go in peace.
