Welcome to Loving Wings Wellness Meditation.

I'm Rachel Edge and this is titled,

What Do We Love Most in Life?

We speak most often of our dread,

Our worry,

Our criticisms,

And judgments.

We're fed fear through the media and we regurgitate this.

Very seldom do we speak of the joy we feel and share.

We drown ourselves by recycling the hurt of the world,

Speaking more often than not of what hurts rather than what heals.

During this meditation,

I invite you to open each place of love that you carry within yourself.

We must speak more of what is good and right around us rather than what is turmoil or hurt.

This life at times can be frightening,

But it is mostly glorious and thread together by what we love.

So find a comfortable seat or lie down on your back.

Try to sit where nothing is restraining or uncomfortable.

Let your spine grow long as your body connects to the earth growing roots.

Seated,

Let the crown of your head reach to the sky.

Let your shoulders fall away from your ears.

Just let your body rest softly and allow it to slowly lift your day.

Breathing slowly in and exhaling.

Let the life force that is your breath open you to the simple moment you are in right now.

Look for the quiet between your thoughts.

Look for the peace at the borders of the space in your lungs.

Release all that is bracing.

Unclench your jaw.

Relax your brow.

Soften your skin.

Let this moment catch and hold you.

Draw your awareness to your heart space.

I love the sounds of my children breathing as they sleep.

Their inhales and exhales and the slight hum of their sigh signaling life in their bodies.

I love the feeling of my bed in the early morning.

The minutes before the day opens.

The softness of the sheets.

The weight of the divae.

The snug form of my pillow against my neck.

I love the sun creeping above the horizon.

The slowness of the warmth in the new day.

I love the feeling of my heart touching another's in the embrace of a hug.

Arms wrapped around my back allowing my beating heart to hug another's in the closeness that is felt.

When another human welcomes my energy into theirs.

These are the things that I love most in life.

What do you love?

Harvest your light.

Let love pour from your heart.

Allow the thoughts of what bring you joy to enter your space.

Feel the warmth in your body.

The sense of home.

Observe your brain's reaction as you recount all that you love.

This simple act allows your body to break through the darkness.

It allows you to drop the weights of the world and create space where grace can be reached.

We are brought to a place where we can remember that love above all else is our purpose.

Use your love as a purpose for light.

Let it be armor against the darkness.

Use your tongue as a tool to speak words of kindness and compassion.

Of grace and understanding as love.

Remember as you awaken each day that the earth beneath you is the foundation of embracing space.

It provides all that we need.

The air around you fills your lungs with each passing breath.

And this should be cherished and observed with gratitude every moment.

Our lives depend on each inhale and each exhale.

So let them pour.

Let them find equanimity just as they are.

The light and the dark.

The whole and the empty.

The infinite and the vast.

Balance is only achieved when we pause,

Reflect,

And observe.

As you are searching for happiness,

Pause and reflect on what brings you joy.

Pause and observe what it is that you love.

Draw a deep breath in.

Let it go.

Thank you so much for meditating with me.

Go in peace.

Go in love.

Let your light remind you of all that brings you joy.

Namaste.
