Hello and welcome to this meditation for energy and clarity.
Before we get started,
I would recommend finding a comfortable seated position.
One where your spine can feel long and straight but not too rigid.
An easy tip for this is to take a moment to consciously move the hips up and forwards.
Once you've done that,
Maybe give the back just a little bit of a twist and a stretch.
Shoulder as a bit of a roll.
The neck a bit of a bend.
Shake it out a little bit and let your hands just now rest in your lap.
Allow the body to settle.
And when you're ready,
Gently close your eyes down now and take a nice slow deep breath in through the nose.
All the way hold for a few moments.
Enjoy the feeling of all the air and the energy in the body.
Gently now release that breath out through the mouth.
Now as you're letting go,
Let the shoulders drop.
Pull them down back away from the ears.
All the way out.
Another slow deep breath in.
When you're breathing in,
Feel like you're breathing up through the body.
Again hold for a few moments.
And gently release all the way out again.
Letting go,
Particularly with the shoulders,
All the way out emptying the lungs.
One more slow deep breath in again.
Let the belly open up first.
Chest.
So it feels like you're breathing right up through the midbrain.
And hold again for a few moments.
And gently release again all the way out,
Out through the mouth.
Letting go,
Let the hands be heavy and soft in your lap.
And now just allow your breath to come back to its natural rhythm.
And as your breath is finding just that steady pace,
I'm going to invite you to open up your senses.
The first being the gift to be able to hear.
So take a moment to just absorb all the sounds happening around you right at this very moment.
Feel the different layers of the music.
Allow the vibrations of the music to move through you.
And feel as if you're listening with your entire body.
As if your body is like a sponge soaking up all the sounds around you.
My voice.
Even the sounds that are happening outside.
Let it all just melt into the moment with you in the here and the now.
Your breath is steady.
And I'm going to ask you now to open up your feeling sense.
So take a moment to just feel the weight of your body wherever you're at right now.
The contact points of where the body is touching the seat,
The ground underneath you.
Notice how gravity is holding you.
Complete balance with everything around you.
And you feel the tingling sensations at the tips of your fingers.
All the way down at the very end of your toes.
What do you feel and notice there?
Again you might notice like this nice subtle vibration.
Just enjoy the feeling of this energy coursing through the body.
Breath is steady.
Senses are open.
I'm going to invite you now to open up the area around your forehead.
So find an out breath and when you breathe out completely open and relax the forehead.
So it feels like the brows are parting ways.
Breath is steady.
Bring the awareness down a little bit further to the area around your jaw.
Notice the outline of your jaw.
Find an out breath and when you breathe out again completely unclench the jaw.
Wet the lips.
Swallow.
Feel everything around you right here in this moment.
Now I'm going to invite you to bring your awareness into your eyes.
Take a moment to just notice how they feel and sit in the skull.
They might even feel just a little bit heavy or tired.
Now engage your visual sense.
What you see on the back of your eyelids right this very moment.
Then it might be just a blank black canvas.
That's okay.
Just explore this space.
Allow yourself to zoom through the darkness.
What do you notice?
What do you feel?
Maybe you begin to notice certain shapes and colors coming and going.
Just for the briefest of moments.
Like stars zipping past you.
Just notice and feel and enjoy as it moves past you.
Breath is steady.
Let the body go.
Come back and engage just for a few more moments with what you see.
Open up your senses.
Let the light in.
Breathe into the eyes now.
Into that space.
Let go.
Feel the energy coursing through the veins.
If you want to deepen your breath a little bit you can do so.
Take a moment to tilt the head upwards so the throat is slightly exposed.
You feel like you're looking out over the horizon.
Soaking it all up again.
Feel through the body.
All the sounds.
All the tingling sensations.
All the visuals.
The blotches of color.
Let it move through your entire being.
And now as you're in this space of feeling energized and one with everything.
Take a deep conscious breath in now.
Hold for a few moments.
Let a gentle smile move across your face as you're holding that breath.
Then gently now release the breath out through the mouth.
As you're breathing out blink the eyes open.
And wherever you are take a moment to just look around and give thanks for being here and now.
