Snippets of Wisdom.

You are never really stuck.

What is going on when we feel like we're stuck?

It may seem we're repeating the same old scenario over and over.

It may be different faces,

Different places,

But it's the same old experience.

It feels like we're caught in a loop.

What is that?

The idea of being stuck never really resonated with me.

I didn't know why,

So I went searching.

I wrote this in my journal from my research.

You're never stuck.

You're only repeating thoughts that attract experiences that feel the same.

You're telling an old story over and over.

Tell a new story.

We really can't be stuck because life is always changing.

Every moment is temporary.

What's stuck is that we keep repeating the same old story so we get the same old results.

It's like the definition of insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

That's not likely.

If you keep doing the same thing,

You're going to get the same result you've always gotten.

Now that sounds like being stuck.

So how do we get out of the stuck thought pattern so we can receive an improved result?

Here's three suggestions.

Number one,

Reach for a thought that brings you a little relief.

If you can feel a little better now,

You can feel a little better again.

It's really your choice to get out of that stuck feeling.

You are in control of your thoughts.

Not one person can think your thoughts for you.

Number two,

Look for things that are going right.

Find anything that has gone right.

Even if ten things have gone wrong today and only one thing went right,

Ignore the things and focus on what went right.

Number three,

Tell a new story about what you want and why.

Your what is usually easy to come up with.

Something you want,

Right?

Your why may take a little effort.

Your why is because you want to feel good.

So describe all the good feelings you will experience when it arrives.

The before it arrives.

If you commit to any or all of these suggestions,

Your stuck thought patterns will diminish and your new story will become dominant.

Your new results will amaze and delight you.

Stay stuck free by committing to a daily practice of meditation,

Prayer,

Or listening to inspiring talks.

Big hugs,

Marianne.
