Take a slow breath in and settle into a comfortable position.

Imagine you are building a small supportive nest around yourself.

Allow the ground beneath you to carry your weight.

On your next breath,

Soften the belly,

Soften the shoulders,

Soften the throat.

Imagine a warm light resting at the center of your chest.

With each inhale,

The light grows a little brighter.

With each exhale,

The light expands through your body.

Let your breath be slow and effortless.

Feel the weight of your body.

Feel the steadiness beneath you.

Let yourself be held by this moment.

Rest here in quiet,

Slow breathing.

Notice the space between each inhale and exhale.

A soft pause,

A moment of ease.

Take one final nourishing breath in and a long sigh out.

Return gently.
