Hello and welcome.
Allow this meditation to serve you when you feel that your energy is low,
Whether from your mood,
Whether from anything external.
Allow this meditation to serve you and your energy.
Before beginning your meditation,
Make sure that you feel comfortable either in a seated position or lying down.
In any case,
Make sure that your clothing is loose and that you can breathe easily and effortlessly.
You can close your eyes down or continue with a soft gaze.
As you start to relax and as you begin in stillness,
Allow yourself to become aware of what's going on inside,
Noticing your heart beating,
Noticing any pockets of tension in your body,
Noticing where places feel energetically heavy.
Sometimes we can feel this in our forehead,
In our eyes,
Our jaw,
Shoulders.
Just notice in this moment,
Observe how you feel.
What feelings are coming up for you right now?
Notice what they do in your body and where you feel them.
Is it a tightness in the chest?
Is it a clench in the jaw?
Is it a slump in the shoulders?
We'll begin with relaxing the body and you can follow the cue of the body scan to relax the body and allow energy to flow.
Bring your awareness,
Your attention down towards the soles of your feet,
The furthest from the mind.
Moving to the tops of your feet,
Visualizing relaxing the muscles within your feet.
Moving to your ankles and to your lower legs.
Moving to your knees and allowing your knees to widen and become spacious.
Moving up to your upper legs and into your hips.
Allow your hips to widen,
Expand,
Relax deep within the hips and moving to your lower back,
Your lower belly.
Moving up to your upper back and around to your chest,
Allowing your chest to expand,
Releasing tension down your shoulders,
Your arms,
Forearms,
Relaxing through the palms,
Through the knuckles and the fingertips.
Find a wave of relaxation up your neck,
Up the crown of your head and allow that wave of relaxation to move down through the forehead,
Through and in the eyes,
In the mouth,
The cheeks,
The jaw,
The tongue.
Take a slow,
Deep breath.
Inhale through the nose.
On your exhale,
Visualize a wave of relaxation all the way down through your body and through the soles of your feet.
With the body relaxed and at ease,
Energy can begin to flow effortlessly.
Notice how you feel in this moment and now allow yourself to visualize a connection from your body to the earth.
Those could be in the form of roots growing energetically from your body,
Rooting you down all the way down through the earth soil and all the way into the core of the earth,
Allowing it to wrap around the core of the earth.
These roots,
This connection that your body has to the earth is made of peace and connects effortlessly to the core of the earth.
Visualize like a magnet allowing anything that you are holding on to,
To simply release through the connection and into the earth.
If it helps,
You can visualize the release like a dark water just leaving your body and this is an effortless intention just by intending it's happening.
Anything that you are holding on to that isn't serving you in this moment that's keeping you from the present moment here and now.
Just allowing your body to release energetically any past exchanges,
Any conversations,
Any stored emotions or thoughts,
Worries,
Anxiety,
Any fatigue within the mind or the body.
You're just letting all of this go effortlessly through the roots into the core of the earth.
It's safe to let it all go.
Notice how your body feels as you intend to release this energy,
Foreign energy that doesn't belong in this moment.
Notice any sensation in any part of the body as you visualize this release.
Allowing your breath to encourage this release into the core of the earth with every exhale a wave of relaxation can move through your body which opens the channels and allows energy to effortlessly flow through your whole body.
Allowing your body and your mind to become totally still and at ease.
You can release tension,
Release any thoughts that aren't serving you right now.
When your energetic channels open and your body relaxed,
You can visualize drawing from the roots connected to you earth's grounding energy moving through your body.
Allow it to draw up from the soles of your feet and move effortlessly and seamlessly swirling throughout your entire body.
Maybe visualizing this as bright earth's energy.
Notice how you feel when you welcome this bright fresh new energy into your body moving through your legs,
Through your torso,
All the way up through the crown of the head down the arms.
Earth's energy can be grounding,
Supportive and secure allowing us to feel more in balance and more protected within the world around us.
Allowing this energy to just swirl through your entire body moving in and around all of your organs,
Your heart,
Your lungs,
Your mind.
And allow that energy to ground back down into the earth.
Noticing how you feel in this moment.
Any other areas or pockets of tension,
Just visualize drawing more earth energy into that space allowing it to widen and open up and bring your awareness to your heart and to your heart center and give yourself three supportive,
Compassionate heart breaths just for you.
So as you breathe in,
Visualize expanding your own heart,
Allowing it to open and the energy of the heart flowing in and around the heart,
Energizing that space for you.
Exhale through the front of the heart.
We'll do two more.
Breathing in,
Heart expands,
Opens up.
You feel the energy of your own heart.
Exhale,
Release out.
One more deep breath.
Inhale through the back of the heart.
Nice wide open up.
Energy opens to your entire body.
Exhale,
Releasing everything out.
Return to your normal breath here.
And before we close this meditation,
Maybe placing one or both palms gently to your heart space,
Allowing it to close,
Allowing it to remain for you.
Think about an intention or an affirmation that could serve you in the rest of your day or into your night.
Repeating this affirmation and imagine placing it onto your heart.
Your meditation is now complete.
