Welcome,

Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position,

Sitting upright with your feet grounded or lying down with your arms resting gently by your sides.

Close your eyes and take a slow breath in and a slow breath out.

Eclipse season can feel like a time of uncertainty,

Intensity,

And change.

This meditation practice is here to remind you,

Even when the skies shift,

You can remain steady,

Centered,

And at peace within yourself.

We're going to begin by bringing your awareness to your breath.

Inhale slowly through your nose and exhale fully through your mouth.

With every exhale,

Imagine releasing a little bit of the tension you've been carrying.

Now feel the surface beneath you,

Your chair,

Your bed,

Or the floor.

Imagine that roots are extending from your body into the earth,

Anchoring you deeply,

Securely,

And lovingly.

Thoughts may be swirling,

Just as the cosmos stirs during an eclipse.

See those thoughts as passing clouds in the sky of your mind.

You don't have to chase them.

You don't have to fight them.

Notice each thought,

Acknowledge it,

And let it float on.

Return gently to your breath.

And repeat to yourself,

I am safe.

I am steady.

Now,

Visualize the moon slowly moving across the face of the sun.

A soft,

Gentle shadow appears.

This shadow represents uncertainty,

Change,

Or the unknown.

Instead of fearing it,

Allow yourself to sit with it.

Notice how even in darkness,

There is beauty.

Say to yourself,

I welcome transformation.

I trust the unfolding of my path.

And breathe into this trust,

As if your breath itself creates light in the shadows.

Now,

Bring attention to your heart space,

Imagining a warm,

Golden light glowing there.

With every inhale,

This light expands,

Filling your heart space.

With every exhale,

It spreads through your entire body,

Melting away tension,

Fear,

And restlessness.

If anxiety feels heavy in your chest,

Imagine it gently dissolving in this golden light.

You no longer have to carry it.

Now,

Taking three slow,

Intentional breaths.

Inhaling calm,

Exhaling release.

Know that you can return to this place of stillness whenever eclipse season or life feels overwhelming.

When you are ready,

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Roll your shoulders,

And open your eyes.

You are grounded,

And you are ready to face the shifting skies of eclipse season with steady grace.

Just as the eclipse passes and the light returns,

May you carry forward the reminder that every shadow is temporary,

And every cycle brings renewal.

Move gently,

And trust the light within you to guide the way.
