Welcome to Day 3 of Spiritual Mornings.
Today we're going to look at the body in a different way.
Not as something that needs to be changed,
And not as an enemy to escape from,
But as the home that holds your life.
The body is the channel through which you feel,
Through which you breathe,
Through which you connect with the world.
And when you inhabit it with love,
It becomes a sanctuary,
A safe place,
A silent temple,
A sacred space where you can rest.
So often we live disconnected from the body.
We push it.
We judge it.
We ignore it.
And we only remember it when something hurts.
But the body is not an obstacle.
It is your first teacher.
It is the one that lets you know when something is not right.
It is the one that stays with you even when the mind drifts away.
It holds memories,
Intuition,
Wounds,
And also miracles.
And when you return to it with awareness,
The body brings you back to yourself.
Today we're going to take a slow and loving journey through this inner temple,
Without trying to fix anything,
Only feeling,
Noticing,
And giving thanks.
Find a comfortable position.
You may be seated or lying down,
Allowing the body to feel relaxed and fully supported.
Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in.
Exhale slowly,
Letting the body begin to soften.
Do that two more times.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Feel your body settling,
As if it were saying,
I am ready to be listened to.
Bring your attention to your feet.
Notice their shape,
Their temperature,
Their weight.
Slowly move your awareness up through the legs,
Feeling the muscles,
The bones,
The skin.
Arrive at the hips.
Notice whether there is any tension there.
And if there is,
Breathe into it.
Now bring your awareness to the abdomen.
Do not judge it.
Just feel it.
Notice how it moves with the breath.
Then move up to the chest.
Feel the rhythm of your heart.
Feel the body pulsing with life.
Now the shoulders.
The arms.
The hands.
Each finger.
And finally,
Move through the neck.
The face.
Softening the forehead.
The jaw.
Your whole body is here.
And you are fully inhabiting it.
Now imagine that your whole body is a sanctuary.
A sacred space.
Not because of the way it looks,
But because of what it holds.
Visualize a soft golden light moving through your body.
This light does not correct.
This light does not judge.
Does not demand.
It simply illuminates and honors.
Feel it moving through your back.
Your chest.
Your arms.
Your legs.
Now let that light reveal something to you.
A place in your body where you are holding tension.
Or where you may need more presence and love.
Stay there for a moment.
Breathe into that place.
And silently say,
I hear you.
I see you.
I am here.
Now,
If you'd like,
Place your hands over your heart.
And repeat softly within.
Thank you,
Body,
For holding me.
Thank you,
Body,
For staying with me.
Thank you for being my home.
Let that gratitude expand like a blessing.
Let it fill your whole body.
From your feet to the crown of your head.
Feel the light.
Feel the air moving in and out through your nose.
Notice how the body is breathing.
Without you needing to do anything at all.
Slowly return to the points of contact beneath you.
Gently move your fingers.
Your feet.
Roll the neck slightly.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
Return to the present with your body as your safe place.
Your body is more than a collection of organs and functions.
It is your first sacred ground.
It is the form your soul has taken to walk through this life.
And it does not need perfection.
Only presence.
With awareness,
Touch three parts of your body that you often ignore or judge.
And to each one,
Say with love,
Thank you for being part of me.
You can do this in the shower,
While getting dressed or before going to sleep.
What part of your body spoke to you today during the meditation?
How did it feel?
Thank you for turning inward.
Thank you for making your body a place you can truly live in.
I'll see you tomorrow,
In a new spiritual morning.
