Welcome to Meditation Haven,
And this guided morning meditation to clear your mind.
Begin by finding a comfortable position for the next ten minutes.
Elongating the spine,
Shoulders rolled back slightly to open up your heart space.
Let your palms rest comfortably facing the sky,
Or in a mudra of your choice,
And softly close your eyes,
And setting an intention for your day ahead in the most positive way.
And we will return to this powerful intention at the end of this practice.
Bring all of your awareness in to centre on your breath,
Relax the little muscles around your eyes,
Ease your jaw,
And simply breathe.
Allow the thinking mind,
Or the externalised mind,
To begin to relax.
For the next ten minutes,
There's nowhere you need to be,
There's nothing you need to do.
This is your time.
For you,
Focus within,
And simply observe how your breath feels as it enters and exits your body.
Become curious about how primal your breath is.
Such a natural and automatic action.
Your breath is always serving you,
Always working on your behalf.
And so,
You tune into it now,
Watching it,
Observing gently,
As it flows in and out of your being.
On your next inhale,
Become more intentional with your breath,
Letting your diaphragm drop down as you breathe in,
And contract as you breathe out.
Along this meditation journey,
If you find your mind wandering,
That's perfectly okay.
One of the greatest ways to clear the mind is to focus on your breath,
Releasing distractions by letting your thoughts come and go without attachment.
If a thought emerges,
Simply let it arise and release it.
Cultivate your awareness to the way your breath feels and flows.
Your breath is your life force,
Connecting you with the earth,
With the trees,
And with all sentient beings.
The longer you relax in stillness,
The cleaner and clearer your mind becomes.
Enjoy this clarity you are creating as you tune in to your pure awareness.
You may start to notice your consciousness expanding,
Or an ethereal feeling of lightness.
Just allow whatever you experience and channel your awareness into your breathing,
Rejuvenating your mind,
Body,
And spirit.
And as this meditation draws to a close,
Return your consciousness to your physical form,
Perhaps rolling your shoulders and wriggling your fingers and toes.
Say thank you in your mind for this deep feeling of peace which you have generated within yourself.
And now return your mind to the powerful intention you set at the beginning of this meditation,
Consolidating this intention to manifest throughout your day with ease,
Grace,
And flow.
And when you are ready,
Taking all the time you need,
Softly open your eyes and enjoy this calming sense of peace in your life.
